Hi Nairalanders, My question is a very simple one - why is tinubu HATED so much by Obidients? I am genuinely curious owing to what I've been reading on the platform and other social media. Yet since 1993 FBI, Babangida , Abacha, Obasanjo, Jonathan all couldn't prosecute him They say he is a Drug dealer, yet DEA of America, NDLEA of Nigeria, Interpol and FBI haven't ever arrested any drug trafficker linking Tinubu to crime, yet People like Buruji kashamu had been indicted and many SouthEast Baron They call him Religious Bigot, yet he is married for decades to a Christian Woman They call him Nepotistic, yet under Tinubu an Igbo was the Comm for Budget and Planing, and each and every project gets funded by only the approval of Ben Akabueze an Igbo Under Tinubu, Housing scheme and Lekki , Ajah Axis got developed.. everyone from around the country bought land to develop and Tinubu gave them Governors consent and C of O without checking names . 40 Likes 6 Shares |

KwuoteYourFada: He was an accountant, a good one.. Common sense dictate that he will deal with various kind of people. You don't expect him to know what everyone is capable of, drug money was paid to his account and he forfeited it. He was not caught with drug dealings himself. LegalWolf:Tinubu is not hated, APC as a party and what they represent is. Tinubu just happens to be the face of APC. In addition, 1. He represents the same set of old men who wrecked the nation to this stage 2. His health didn't help matters 3. His link with a drug related crime didn't help 4. Him being a godfather with Lagos under his armpits didn't help 5. The clamour for CHANGE doesn't work in his favour. But give it to Tinubu 1. He's probably the most intelligent politician Nigeria has ever produced 2. He seem to know how to recognise talents when he sees one. 3. Nigerians, not necessarily Obidients because I am Obidient but Tinubu is my second preference for the fact that he got foresight and the capacity to get things done. It's resentment and not hatred. Basically, Igbos hate Yoruba. It has started way back even before tinubu.. Awolowo went to campaign in the SE during his time, they stoned him... Despite that he was an exceptional leader.. They hate on Osinbajo sote, they tagged him a *mere commisioner* . Close to election, they changed to they would have supported Osinbajo, I just dey laugh! Double mouth people they’re! What of MKO Abiola? After winning in 1993, a particular igbo man wrote a letter, telling Babangida why he should annulled the election and not let MKO becomes president.. ( Despite that The election was the best we’ve ever had).. When I saw Shimamanda’s letter to biden that Biden wasn’t suppose to congratulate tinubu, I wasn’t surprised at all. She was only repeating the same hatred of her past fathers.. Hatred was among why Nnamdi Azikwe didn’t agree to secession plan when it was proposed by Awolowo.. ( Thanksfully, nature is rewarding them today cuz God is never with hypocrites..). It goes on and on like that..
