with my experience in criminal trials i think it is too early to conclude that the suspects cannot be convicted. Under the Evidence Act what is needed to obtain a conviction in a rare case is corroboration. This means the victimn must be prepared to testify. The corroboration may be in the form of a 2nd witness, blood samples,video or voice recordings or other forensic evidence. Corroboration is the crucial link we need in this case to prove the allegation beyond reasonable doubt. I think only a lazy lawyer will conclude that a conviction cannot be obtained in this case. The voices in the video can serve as corroboration. What more, one of the suspects can even testify against the others.
