Burial Vault In Nigeria:. Is it Proper to Bury a Person at the Cemetery? by ejimatic: 2:00pm On Apr 26, 2023
Sequel to the burial vault of Sanwoolu seen last week on the interest, it has become pertinent to look into the burial systems in Nigeria. Some people bury their old relatives at the muslim or christian cemeteries. My concern is how dead bodies are treated many years in those cemeteries by the religious management. In a place all the bodies of the dead were bulldozed so as to build a new church Complex at the cemetery site. The question is Is it appropriate to bury a person who has many houses or a house in the church or Muslim cemetery? Why not burying the person in his house? What are your opinions and experiences?

Environmental sanitation/hygiene is usually cited. I strongly believe that cremation will eventually be the preferred option... once the apparent high costs come down.

So you want the person to be buried in his or her house so that the house can be haunted by his or her ghost?

Personally, I'll never stay in a house where a person is buried in.
