Abatete is a Town in Anambra State in Nigeria.Abatete is bordered by Uke, Ogidi, Abacha, Oraukwu, Alor, Ideani, Nimo, Eziowelle, Umuoji. It is located in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State. It is made up of four villages namely : Agbaja, Nsukwu, Ogbu and Odida. Its people are one of the Igbo speaking peoples of Eastern Nigeria. Abatete, like most Igbo communities, has a rich cultural heritage.

The indigenes of Abatete are now building all the roads in the village. This project includes roads, road kerbs,Sidewalks,Street lights, Cctv installation, drainages/ gutters,security gates, planting of exotic plants & trees.
13 roads are simultaneously been done as I speak now!.

Investment on key infrastructure are now a law and a must for all Abatete people!...Industries are planned to start setting up also in the village for local jobs!.

This is pure developmental revolution going here and many surrounding towns like Adazi ani, Oraukwu, Uke, Eziowelle and all the way to Nnewi axis. Something great is happening in Anambra State!!!

This brought a lot of investment in Neni. Many industries, hotels, schools and hospitals. Neni is home to the biggest Oxygen gas cylinder plant in Nigeria although still Underconstruction.

Impressive stuff...from the little i watched. They're doing up the entire Abataitai (that's how we used to call it in secondary school ) to look like a GRA! I particularly like the attention paid to detail and the touch of well-groomed greenry added, though i hope the width of the sidewalks are widened to cover the open gutters and the sides of the roads are lawned with grass instead of leaving them bare like that. Good effort overall!
