It looks like Kanu will now be tried under the Administration of Tinubu. In 2020 Kanu instructed Ibos in Lagos to find Tinubu and deal with him, destroy his properties. Tinubu was not found, but they located and destroyed his properties, and those they thought were his. Tinubu now inherits Kanu's incarceration and trial. I am not sure Kanu will come out of prison in next 8years. 2 Likes 1 Share |

It's too early to tell. Nobody knows the approach Tinubu will take on this matter and besides the supreme court has the final say. |

Is kanu an asset to the igbos?? Nope, nigga prey on their guilibility just like Simon ekpa, the only difference is that Simon ekpa had a clash of guilibility unlike kanu who respected himself in 2019. If ekpa had kept mum during obi campaign and come out now, he would be perceived a greater hero than kanu. Should Tinubu release kanu?? Hell No!! not even for any political reason, kanu should not be released for whatever reason not even if its political as dude has a history of breaching agreement. Tinubu should therefore attempt to intensify the grievances of the east. Attempt I said cos there's high tendencies they wont want peace. If they fail to adhere or show commitment, they should be sidelined completely. |

MetaPhysical: The reasoning of Nigerians can be so shocking to the extent that they dont even know when they encourage impunity and crime Mr man, the judiciary is meant to be independent and not under the control of any President. So regardless of who is President, that person is not supposed to interfere in any judicial process, to do so is a crime 2 Likes |

Your thoughts though. If Tinubu fails to release him, God will release him through His miraculous ways and power. Did Abacha release Oladipo Diya and Olariwanju before Abacha demised? the answer is NO, but they regained their freedom after God rendered Abacha to immortal dust. Miracle no dey tire God and Jesus. 2 Likes |

gidgiddy: These are academic statements, they bear no truth to reality. Kanu's reality is not academic. Ministry of Internal Affairs supervises Prisons. Ministry of Justice supervises Courts. Ministry of Defense supervises DSS. Kanu is in custody and a client to all three. Ministers over the three departments are appointed at the service of the President, it is not an independent position. It is political appointment. Nnamdi Kanu is now the property of Ahmed Tinubu beginning May 29th. If you don't like this take the matter to UN and write ICJ. |

jumper524:Unfortunately but true, d psyche if d avrrage igbo man is contentuous and beligerant in nature. The more u try to pls d average human being, d more he relaxes and d more peaceful he shd become, but not d igbos. The more you try to placate them the more beligerant and contentuous they bcom. I cant but agree with u on this. |

Kanu should be out 2 years after Tinubu's presidency. Kanu's case won't be priority in the first year, there could be consideration in 2nd year only if the SE leaders can be serious about lobbying. Kanu should have at least learnt something from this. The people he thought he was fighting for forgot him during the last presidential election. Infact if you asked them to choose between Kanu being released or Obi's presidency, they would choose the latter. Baba Imole was actually right, Ogo eyan lo n ja fun ilu ( Only a fool fight for the masses in Africa) when you can help them in your own capacity and move on |
