The Ebonyi State chapter of the Labour Party (LP) expressed concern on Friday regarding the recent relocation of the state Election Petitions Tribunal (EPT) to Abuja.

This decision was made by Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, the President of the Court of Appeal, who directed the tribunal to relocate immediately. Mr. Godwin Jioke, the State Chairman of the Labour Party, expressed worry about the shutdown of the court in Ebonyi and disagreed with Dongban-Mensem’s decision.
