Jennifer eliogu's Onulube
This is a heartrending emotional song thats all about forgiveness, reconciliation, looking out for your brother, which is very important to igbo culture...i feel very emotional about this song because i have been having a cold war with my dad for so many years, each time i play this song, tears roll down my eyes, Hoping for the day we will reconcile...
"Igbo n'ile bu nwanne" we igbo are all one, let us look out for each other, help each other, reconcile with that person that u are not in good terms with
God bless us

Chike ft flavor Hard to find
This is a beautiful song, expressing how difficult it is to find someone that really loves and understands you..."Nwanyi ma obi di ya" a woman that knows the heart of her husband, very hard to find, as a man, when u find such woman, please hold and cherish her well
Flavor did so well in this song...i love the way we igbos have words of praise for our women, it is really adorable...i love when he tells her "o di uko n'mba" very rare to find in society" my prayers answered...
This song is very good, when u find that special person, please hold onto them

Phyno So Far so Good
I really love this song, reminds me of the days of intense poverty and suffering, we are not there yet but much better than where we used to be...

Kolaboy Ogoli
This is a beautiful song, the intro highlights the pressure young men of marriageable age face in igboland to get married....
He said "umunna mere meeting, ha si m je luo nwanyi grin" " the elders had a meeting, asking me to go get married"
The chorus is so nice, a woman who knows the heart of her husban, it is God that gives such a woman...
And in third verse, i love where he says "for your type a man go live long"
This is so sweet coz when u have a good woman, life is so much better
Please what is the English translation of ogoli?

Zoro ft illbliss echefula

Very good song, reminding all igbos far and wide, never to forget home, never forget your culture..
"Echefula omenala gi, echefula e bi siri bido"
We must keep our homeland in our hearts always, our people, our culture, just as our ancestors have kept and preserved out homeland for us for thousands of years, we must do same for our generation unborn...we must hand them a prosperous , peaceful ala igbo

Flavor umuigbo

This is a very emotional song, it talks about the pain of the civil war and urges igbos to unite together as one....the song brings tears to my eyes always...
I love when he says " o gini mere na-anyi adighi e me nwanne" what is making us not to be united and caring towards each other" "o gini mere asusu anyi ji ala, onyi igbo muta nwa, o suo ya oyibo, oyibo amaka ma na obughi asusu anyi" " what is causing our language to die, an igbo will give birth and train their kid with English, English is good but it is not our language"
This is very important, especially if u live outside of igboland, please teach ur children our language, teach them our culture, make them fall in love with who they are...

This is a beautiful song about marriage, traditional marriage is such a big deal in igbo land...
The intro of the song , where the bride was disturbed because the groom and his people were taking to long to come is so relatable grin
On the day of my sister's traditional marriage, the groom and his people were coming from imo state to Abia state, they ran into traffic and there were still unresolved traditional rites that were yet to be settled, time waa running, my sister was crying, her friends and our relatives had to console her...to make things worse, network in my village as of then get as e be grin , so it was hard to keep steady communication...but thankfully they groom made it and the remaining rites were resolved with ease ...
The last part of the song were the bride was leaving is also so relatable "mummy bye bye, Daddy Bye bye" in igboland, the bride must sleep in the grooms house after the traditional marriage...even tho it was late at night, my in-laws insisted they must take her, it was very emotional as we waved her goodbye...
