For where?the bible wey support am sef. There are many bible passages.
1peter 2:18
Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh.

The Bible has been used to support slavery for centuries. One of the first examples comes from the book of Exodus, when God commands the Israelites to enslave the Midianites. "Then they captured all the flocks and herds and don't leave a single animal. They captured all the goods and took them from the city as plunder." (Exodus 32:32)

In the book of Leviticus, God gives specific instructions on how to treat slaves. "If you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for six years. But in the seventh year, he shall go free, without paying anything. If he comes alone, he is to go free alone; but if he has a wife when he comes, she is to go with him. If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the woman and her children shall belong to her master, and only the man shall go free." (Leviticus 25:44-46)

In the book of 1 Timothy, the Bible advocates for slavery. "Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good they do, whether they are slave or free." (1 Timothy 6:1-2)

The Bible has been used to justify slavery for centuries, and continues to be used in this way today. Many examples dey.
Very insane book!

Who wrote the bible?

Most of the stories are just self glorification. Slavery wasn't condemn in the bible cos the writers saw nothing wrong about it then

The spiritualized meaning of old testament changes the literal meaning therein.

Paul condemned slave trade and banned slave traders from churches.
Paul strongly advocated for the end of slavery..read book of Philemon to gain more insight.

The Bible condemned slavery but it can't work now that the initiator of slavery is the ruler of the world! John 14:30; 2Corinthians 4:4; 1John 5:19

The tool Satan is using to manipulate people into slave trade is "money" Satan introduced this tool in order to promote his idea of humans becoming gods over their fellow humans {Genesis 3:5} with money even what people won't accept normally may become a matter to argue upon imagine what is happening in the world today, so many immoral acts are swept under the carpet so far it's the rich that is involved in it.

So God has it in His plans that slavery can't be in God's own government (kingdom) that's what God will ensure in Paradise! Zechariah 3:10; Micah 4:4

Today Satan is ruling over the earth so it's his will that few humans are lords over their fellow humans {Luke 22:25} but under God's own system of rule the rulers must serve their subjects! Luke 22:26

Let it be known that God's word forbids slavery but there's no way slavery can be done away with under Satan's rulership each person privileged will have to decide how to treat less privileged ones around you {Matthew 26:11} but then it should be noted that whatever we sow we will reap {2Corinthians 5:10} when talking about what people sow many feel God will punish them automatically for their wrongdoings but that's not what it means rather God won't shield people when they're being carried away with the greed they sow in their hearts. That's exactly what happened to Judas Iscariot! Matthew 26:14-16 compare to 1Timothy 6:1-10

The reason why you havent found a lucrative answer, whatever that means, simply is because, arguments typically are about trading in exchanges of one ignorance for another ignorance and soon endup becoming a vicious circle.

Kingabia1998:
for me I haven't cross or read any part in the bible if it's condemned slavery.
Genesis 15:13-14
13God said to Abram,
"You can know for sure that your descendants will live in a land that is not their own,
where they will be slaves, and they will be oppressed for 400 years.
14But I will punish the nation they serve,

and after that they will come out with many possessions.

You havent come across nor read any part in the bible where its condemned slavery, simply because, of ignorance manifesting in likely one or all three different types of ignorances, which namely are:
1. Factual ignorance (i.e. absence of knowledge of some fact)
2. Object ignorance (i.e. unacquaintance with some object), and
3. Biblical technical commentary ignorance

I plead with you to start with defining what slavery is, even describe what being kept in servitude is, to then end up with describing, with examples, what good slavery and bad slavery is.

Now, for what its worth, Genesis 15:14a, is an indictment that the slavery, the sort, form and shape found in Genesis 15:13 is frowned upon

Personal text: Jesus is not a theologian. He is God who told stories.
