though of course the manner of the discovery of crude oil in kwara sound very funny but even if it is true I do not see anything to rejoice about it. oil discovery has remain a curse to the communities and the nation rather than a blessing.Land,water and air have been polluted making life miserable to inhabitant of such community

Go ask the good peeps of Oloibiri how they fared with the now exhausted oil deposits found in their land.

But for nothing, I can tell you that the sole beneficiaries were the bastards calling the shots in government; the oil companies; a few military top brass and  civilian collaborators with access to the corridors of power (mainly from 2 major ethnic groups). The few crumbs available would have been cornered by traitor/gullible traditional rulers and clueless militant/youth leaders of the village.

Majority of the good people of Oloibiri got fuc*k-all.
