You can ask - Burma boy Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy, Dbanj, and a host of others in different fields .
Igbos don't need government patronage to get to the top of their games - Obi Cubana and you known them young Igbo multi billionaires who started from the very scratch, unlike the likes of Dangote, Adenuga, Otedola etc who got to the top through government patronages and induced monopoly.

The good thing about the Igbo man is he can show u road simply by been around, he doesn't need to even trust you

Another chest beating thread.

They are talking about billionaire in dollars like Otedola, Dangote, Rabiu, Adenuga e.t.c.. This one is talking about Obi Cubana.

Another chest beating gorilla on the loose. How retarded do you have to be to compare Obi Cubana with Otedola or Dangote?

Dem don use chest beating swear for these people. Empty drums make the loudest noise. They will fall sick if they don't chest beat atleast once a day.

Reno just called one of this miscreants to order today.

Dear @nnamdi_nzegwu,

Thank you for your feedback. I am not sure what you say is accurate. After the war, it was Igbo-speaking people in present-day Rivers (who say they are not Igbos) who took properties belonging to their fellow Igbo brethren in the name of abandoned property.

Such never occurred in the Midwest or Western Region. All the Igbos who had property in those regions were given back their property. All those who had bank accounts in Nigerian domiciled banks returned to meet their deposits intact.

It is a good thing you mention Chief Alex Ekwueme. He is An example of this. Although he was not friends, per se, with Otunba Subomi Balogun, they lived close to each other. Just before the outbreak of the civil war, Alex Ekwueme left Lagos for the Eastern Region, like most prudent Igbos.

After the war, he returned to Lagos and, surprisingly, met his house in a renovated condition. While wondering what had happened, his neighbour, Mr Subomi Balogun, approached him and gave him his back rent in cash.

Chief Ekwueme's children are still alive and can attest to this. The great man himself did admit to this while he was alive.

The £20 issue was only for Nigerians of Igbo origin who had savings in Biafran banks. You would not expect Nigeria to accept the Biafran pound, would you?

And, yes, you guys are industrious and very hardworking. I commend the Igbo for such virtues. But other ethnic nationalities are not doing too badly. The Southwest has the highest regional per capita income in Nigeria. Of the seven Nigerians ever listed by Forbes in their 100 world wealthiest list, the Southwest has four persons (Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola, Tope Awotona, and Folorunsho Alakija), the Northwest has two (Aliko Dangote and Abdul Samad Rabiu), while the South-South has one (Tony Elumelu). No other zone features in that list.

You may want to understand that Forbes Magazine does not do quota system. If you are rich, you are rich!

Sadly, many people have believed lies told by different people they look up to about the Civil War and its aftermath, and it is breeding hatred in them against other Nigerians. As Yeshua said, you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free!

Below are non-Igbo guys who are millionaires in dollars. These guys never got involved with government neither do they don't do petty trading or those during ilegal stuffs while hiding under selling expensive ogogoro at clubs or unknown import and export. They are making cool money via intelligence and complex means - brain power.

These guys will blow your Obi Cubana, emoney and co out of the water, but you won't see them bragging online or offline. They were brought up to be humble. There are several of them like that that are not even popular at all but extremely making tons of money in the start up spaces and rubbing minds with CEO of Nigerian banks.

I don't know your your tribe, if you're Igbo or just creating this kind of thread for people to always bash & dislike them. Even God hates a boostful person. Learn to be humble.

Believe this if you like, if the Igbos have 1,000 Naira billionaires then know it that the Yoruba's has 10,000 of them & the north has about 10million of them. The only difference is that they're humble, they don't show off.
