New World Cooking Leveling Guide 0-200 FAST And EASY! by NumbsSyun: 3:33am On May 11, 2023
Cooking is an essential trade skill in New World that allows players to cook foods that offer a huge variety of buffs. These foods can regenerate health and mana, increase your luck while gathering, increase your attributes or even increase your gear score potential in items. Cooking is also the trade skill that allows players to make dyes. These dyes can be sold or used to personalize the color of your gear.

In this guide, we will show you how to level up your cooking skill from 0-200 quickly and easily.

The first thing to note is that cooking is one of the easiest trade skills to max out, but it holds one of the highest potentials in terms of ability to make consistent coin. While you won't get rich overnight using cooking, the stuff you make will always sell, and depending on how much effort you're willing to put into it, this trade skill can be used to produce enough gold that you will never need to worry about coin again.

The fastest, most efficient, and best way to level cooking remains how it's always been. The amounts have changed, but the method hasn't. The simplicity of making rations will just always come out on top. Let's go over what you'll need:

3073 red meat
3073 pork
2728 venison
988 venison tenderloin
1050 tier 5 meats (prime red meat or whatever is the cheapest on your server)
1050 honey

Here's the leveling process:

From 1 to 50: You'll be making 345 travel rations. This will require 345 red meat and 345 corn.

From 50 to 100: You'll be making 690 light meals. For this, you will use 690 venison, 690 red meat, and 690 pork.

From 100 to 150: You'll be making 988 satisfying meals. For this, you will need 988 venison tenderloin, 988 red meat, 988 pork, and 988 venison.

From 150 to 200: You'll be making 1050 hearty meals. For this, you will need 1050 prime red meat or whatever tier 5 meat you chose, 1050 red meat, 1050 pork, 1050 venison, and 1050 honey.

Once you've reached 200 cooking, you'll have some work ahead of you as a fresh 200 cook. You will only have access to the base recipes, and you will want them all, especially the ones that offer 2,000 luck or +15 to the various trade skills. First, you will want to gather these. These recipes can easily be purchased off the market, but if you enjoy finding things on your own, these are farmed from the various provision stockpiles on the map. These recipes can also now be found in the cooking aptitude crate, so you'll generate quite a few recipes on your own.

You will also want your chef set. Unlike with other trade skills, food does not have a gear score. So what the trade skill armor does here is increase your potential chance, as well as the amount of the bonus items you get while crafting. Considering how easy it is to get cooking aptitude crates, we suggest you farm them.

In conclusion, cooking is an essential trade skill in New World that offers huge potential for making New World gold. By following this guide, you can easily level up your cooking skill from 0-200 quickly and easily, and start enjoying the many benefits of cooking in New World.
