Capt. Tony Enoch, a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State, has been killed.

The retired military officer, Enoch was also a kinsman of the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, and was killed in Oru East local government area of the state, hometown of the governor.

Enoch, who served as the Coordinator for the Grow Orlu Project, a political structure of the Senator-elect of the Imo West Senatorial District, Osita Izunaso, was killed on his way from the APC Stakeholders meeting held at the Oru- East council headquarters.

After killing him around Awomama Technical School in Oru-East, the gunmen dumped his corpse in the booth of his car.

The deceased was ambushed by his assailants, who ordered him to park his car before he was shot dead.

He was shot on the head three times and dumped in the booth, where blood traces were seen under the abandoned car.

Henry Okoye, spokesperson for the police in the state, said he was yet to be briefed about the incident.

Uzodima have really destroyed a once very peaceful imo state imo people have never had it this bad before I really pity anyone that's closely working with uzodima in imo who is not heavily protected and fortified.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Alms
Abu al-Aswad al-Dailani (RA) said:

While we were present with Abu Dharr (RA), he said: In the morning, alms arqe due for him, every fast is alms, every pilgrimage is alms, every utterance of "Glory to be Allah" is alms every utterance of "Allah is most great" is alms, every utterance of "Praise be to Allah" is alms. The Messenger of Allah ( ﷺ ) recounted all such good works. He then said: Two rak'ahs which one prays in the Duha serve instead of that. (Sunan Abi Dawud 1286, Book 5, Hadith 37) The 2 rakahs of Duha are a blessing we should all avail. It takes just a few minutes and has great rewards. Remember Allah at at times and you will find Him close to you. Don’t let anything distract you for too long before your return to Allah.
