Dear men,

Always remember to keep your children’s school fees receipts,

- including receipts for medical bills.

When men get old, their wives have a tendency of inciting the children against their father,

“Your father was irresponsible, I am the one who paid fees.”

Take note👍

My old man keeps everything receipt/important documents. He emphasizes on record-keeping and I haven't seen one more responsible than him. 👍

If you are very intentional and present in your children' lives, you don't need receipts to prove you cared for them because they know you were there for them and NO ONE CAN manipulate them, you didn't .

No one can manipulate me that my father didn't play regularly with me and my siblings, didn't take us to school, didn't follow up on our performance in our academics: common entrance examinations, WAEC, GCE, JAMB, didn't discuss our career choices with him and my mother, didn't take us to the construction sites he was handling, nor regularly talked about what was currently go on in the family.... everybody in the family knew when money don enter and when e don dey finish as my parents' finances were an open book, to the extent that when my eldest sibling finished secondary school she became the bursar of the house while awaiting university admission.

Be one-on-one with your children, don't delegate it, be an open book to them.

“I am building my mum a house”
“I am taking my mum for a vacation”.

I have come across such statements so many times from sons and daughters but you can’t hear anything about their fathers which clearly proves manipulation.😞

when you are actively involved in your children's lives they will surely acknowledge it and reciprocate the love towards u.
No mother can manipulate such children but, if you made the mistake of beating your wife in their presence just prepare to be abandoned in your old age.

The woman will cry and tell them how she endured their father's series of abuse and truly they witnessed it, so in that case what do u expect?

No matter the anger, the men should learn to control it especially when the kids are present.

No child who grew up with his father, and was loved and nurtured by his father can have his/her heart turned by his/her mother or another person. The advice you should give men is to be physically involved in bringing up their children, money doesn't solve everything, spend time with your children and keep your stuffs in your pant. Don't go around hurting their mother by putting your stuff in strange women. Be a responsible and disciplined father and your children would love you. Period
