Moses was not brought up in Israelite culture because Israel did not actually exist at that time. To be exact, for 400 years it was in Egypt (this is according to the Bible).

It was an icon of another god, Moses never had a horn, Bible never supported any icon in the church..... Israelites never had any icon for worship, just only the "convenant box" and station in the innermost chamber of the temple, just the chief priest can have access to it for cleansing purpose.
