The job of the news anchors is deliver news to the nation devoid of bias. It's not their job to weigh in their personal interpretation of the news.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0uI6-rS2FI

In same countries, journalists invites the person that makes the statement to their studio to clarify their speech to the nation.

I am appalled and embarrassed for Nigerian brown envelope journalism.

Please watch the video to the be aware of the damages out press is wrecking on the people and the nation. Their misconduct and incompetent is why country is in deep mess.

It's been a long time my Nairaland family♥️🥀 I hope y'all are doing well and having a great weekend.

Happy mothers day in the United States 🇺🇸 to all our beautiful and beloved mothers in Nigeria making enormous sacrifices for the family and the nation ❤️❤️❤️❤️

You're right my dear brother ❤️ I wasn't thinking about that. I am focused on the misconduct of that news anchor.

Thank you for your brilliant and helpful feedback. I took notice of and will do better the next time I promise.

Things will get better in our beloveth beautiful country blessed by God and wicked men have vowed we'll not be partakers of God's endowment in our country.

Ww need to take on the press to force them to do the job for the people and not their political paymasters.

Rufai's theme is preaching morality to thr consciousness of nation depleted of moral compass. He's not promoting politicians. He calls them out actually. That's the difference.

Your comment is false equivalence.

I tried to figure out what the youtuber was trying to say, but I could not get anything meaningful in all she said. The Journalist said exactly what Obi said and someone is telling us that it is only Obi that can interprete what he(Obi) said. Obi supporters are becoming very stupid each passing day, because I didn't see anywhere the Journalist sounded bias. If Obi feels he was misquoted, then he should come and clarify what he meant. But they (Obi's supporters) interpreted what Tibnubu meant when he said 'Emilokon' without inviting Tibnubu to really ask him what he meant.

Do you understand that's it's you the poor Nigerians are gradually going to be decimated economically and mentally in this incoming administration? How's whatever Nigeria turn to supposed to affect Mr Obi. Who's a billionaire in his own standing and his children covered for life.
Just people born into poverty and still living in poverty are the ones cheering and propping up their oppressors.

True change in Nigeria starts from people's mind. Otherwise, there's nothing anyone can do to rescue people who have entrapped themselves ln mental and economic poverty and slavery 😡

They are mostly naive and suffering from emotional trauma. How can someone out hatred assume Tinubu is going to fail? Tinubu that is literally the best public administrator Nigeria ever had?

I didn't respond to your nonsense because it's unproductive engagement. I laid down many ethics of journalism the anchor violated. But you chose not listen to them. You're close minded and dismissive of whatever that's doesn't pander to your self deceptive narrative.

I have been in the US 🇺🇸 for 25 years. My opinions are derived from practices of a sane ,civilized and functional country. You don't get to challenge them with your narrow views derived from corrupt Nigeria.

Where did you get those talking points from? As far as I am concerned, Tinubu has not addressed the nation and the people directly.

All he does is creeping around shadowing the country and having his surrogates speak for him. Next, he returned to the country briefly with tubes all all over his body.

And this is who you wish the nation?

You'll go down, too in the next phase of APC administration. You'll not be exempted.

There's emergency need for psychiatrists and other mental health professionals in Nigeria.

Wallahi, many people are silently mad😲

If truly u have lived in the US for 25 years as u claimed, then ur reasoning is like that of a man who dwells in one primitive village in Nigeria, cos the anchor didn't say anything that was wrong. U have live in a sane country for 25 years where good journalism is practiced, but has never seen anything wrong in Oseni Rufai's style of Journalism? But quick to twist an innocent analysis of a man, because u feel what he said offended the character of someone u love? Please come out of this madness.
