How We Love Our Food by Kiddogarcia(m): 9:39pm On May 14, 2023 |
Let the maid dress in their finest silk Tell the chef to put on show her finest skill Let the fruit picker to bring forth the best of nature Tell the wine-bearer to provide the finest of wine Bake the cake, Let the potatoes be properly mashed Welcome the grapes Let the desert be full of colours Slice the onions, make the pepper tasty Unleash the vegetables, let the salad bask in it full glory And if asked, if we are planning a feast Tell them!! This is just the way we love our food . 2 Likes |

Good pieces my boss, Your poem captures the essence of indulgence and celebration through food. Consider adding more sensory details to engage the reader’s senses. Incorporate poetic devices such as metaphors or similes to create stronger imagery. For instance, you could compare the finest silk worn by the maid to the delicate petals of a flower, or the flavors in the cake to a symphony of tastes dancing on the tongue. Pay attention to the overall structure and flow of the poem. Ensure that the lines and stanzas have a consistent rhythm and meter. Experiment with varying line lengths and punctuation to create a sense of musicality or pause where appropriate. However, it’s a masterpiece ✅ |
