A constant effort has been made to encourage and inspire to join Women in Science and Engineering. According to research, gender inequality is caused in part by unsupportive cultures that restrict a woman's career advancement.

Here are listed some difficulties faced by women in science and engineering:
1. Gender Bias in early childhood education
2. Wage disparities between men and women, including industry inequalities, job titles, and experience.
3. Women have fewer role models or prospective mentors than males do today.
