It's a sorry state that we have elected leaders who are playing politics with the lives of its citizens. How can the army claim to know the hideout of Boko Haram and have not invaded it to rescue all captives? Are they saying they are not tactical enough to find a way through the forest when a 25year old can actually device means to escape her captors? With every passing day, I lose faith in our leaders. My only consolation is that they will one day stand before God to give account of everything they have done.

There was no script.

The Chibok girls were among thousands of girls who were kidnapped by Boko Haram that year. And most of them were not kidnapped from school, but from their villages. Most of whom were Muslims. It was even so bad that early marriage became a thing because parents did not want their girl ravished by some mad Boko Haram drug addict. The Chibok girls became prominent because of the publicity. And in the few weeks before the Boko Haram struck in Chibok, they struck in boys schools in Yobe, killing over 50 of them.

And no, it was not planned. APC capitalised on it, and yeah, ultimately it was PDP's fault. They mishandled the boko haram thing, and at the end of the day it affected millions and drove many people into the hands of APC. And yes, APC too has a lot to blame, when one of their bigwig members started arming thugs in 2002, thinking that it would end well for him. Well, here we are. And over the past 8 years, APC has not done well enough. Yeah, no bombings, but millions are still displaced, and the roads in the NE are still bad.

And yeah, ultimately APC too did nothing about the underlying causes of the crisis.

That means there will be no end to the chibok girls revue because the girls we know as chibok girls are actually thousands of young girls kidnapped by this terrorists.
