Hello guys. All of the Guinness World Record attempts I've watched, feature(s) GWR officials at the venue of where it's taking place, to verify it, and then they issue a certificate and photoshoots at the end. How come we haven't seen any of such, and some Nigerians now had to resort to calling GWR out on Twitter to inform them of what's happening?
Were they not informed and approval granted before Hilda embarked on this?

Meaning it's not every attempt they have to be present. But it's surprising that almost every one I've seen, they were there and immediately presented the certificate to the record breaker after the completion. Like, recently, a Japanese chef and her team made the largest sushi ever and they were there all through the cooking process.

It's beyond puzzling. Which still lends credence to my postulation that ordinarily they were supposed to be there. Probably, the person has to be the one to foot the traveling expenses and Hilda wasn't able to do that.
