Not saying SA can compete with the super powers but SA is light years ahead of Nigeria militarily.

South Africa has a submarine fleet and Nigeria has zero sub.

SA has a stealth missile guided frigate that Nigeria can only dream about.

The worst fighter jet in SA’s airforce is better than the best one in Nigeria’s.

SA also produces sophisticated modern weapons because they have private arms industry. An example is their sophisticated heli gunship that’s one of the best in the world.

Can’t compare the 2 countries - SA is on another level.
