The world class $20 billion Dangote Refinery Opens on May 22nd, and has the capacity to supply 100% of Nigeria's petroleum products, and also export to other nations, and will add 21 BILLION DOLLARS each year to the Nigerian economy, as the country now becomes officially the biggest producer and exporter of refined and processed petroleum products in Africa by a huge margin. This development is being seen as the biggest step taken so far in the nation's march towards industrialisation.

THERE were indications yesterday, that the Dangote Petroleum Refinery has the capacity to adequately supply petroleum products — gasoline, diesel, kerosene and aviation jet — to all consumers in Nigeria.

In the Facts Sheet, obtained by Energy Vanguard, the company, stated: “Dangote Petroleum Refinery can meet 100% of the Nigerian requirement of all refined products (Gasoline, 53 million litres per day; Diesel, 34 million litres per day; Kerosene, 10 million litres per day and Aviation Jet, 2 million litres per day) and also have surplus of each of these products for export.

“Designed for 100% Nigerian Crude with flexibility to process other crudes. Self-sufficient Marine facility with ability for freight optimization. Largest single order of 5 SPMs anywhere in the world. Diesel and Gasoline Products from the refinery will conform to Euro V specifications.

......“The project utilised the coordination of various local and international suppliers and the coordination of multi-cultural work teams. The Dangote Refinery Plant is a legacy project that will see Nigeria netting 21 billion dollars per annum.”

Private sector exposes the inefficiency on public service. At the moment, some people just being bogus figure as what we import so that they can collect payments for it in subsidy. Now, we can verify what Dangote dispenses from its terminal.

In a country where 3 government owned refineries are not working, it has come to show that, this country is headed by corrupt minded politicians. May help us.

And he has the vision and experience to spend the money well for good of Nigerians.
