You guys must have observed that while posting on NL with your phone you get some funny repetitions of your post. I notice this very often and indeed it can be embarrassing.
I think I might have stumbled on a way out. If you leave enough newlines \n\n after your post, you may not see these repetitions. Tried it and it worked. Perhaps you can too. Give feedback.

i dont have a problem with double posts sha, so others give it a trial and lets know the results.

This depends on your phone, phone browser and sometimes network speed. I've also noticed it on facebook too,

what i know that causes DPosting is either network or the kind of phone. u can always refresh or reload the page before clicking on submit. This would allow u confirm if ur post had been submitted or not

The poster isn't talking about double posting per se. What he means is the weird double commenting in a single post. The case whereby a poster repeats himself in a single post. 'Digital Deja-vu', if you may. Here's an example:

"Hey guys, Barcelona won? Nice! I'm so glad we've managed to maintain such a cohesive force. And Fabregas has been wonderful since his move. Hey guys, Barcelona won? Nice! I'm so glad we've managed to maintain such a cohesive force. And Fabregas has been wonderful since his move."

All this is written in one post.

Its no big deal. Happens to me when I use my fone too. I call it forum stammering

Better still, if u click on a link or tab,after waitin 4 a while, u observe a hanged connection bar(on opera) or weak netwrk,do not re-click on.Click on 'stop connection' and refresh d page, u'l see ur post without a duplicate.

I actually tot i was the only one having this problem. It's very embarrassing indeed. @OP, you beat me to this post coz i was thinking that other posters must have been doing something different and unique b4 posting./n/n

It happens mainly cos of browser (opera mini & co). My guess is the newlines simply introduce unfriendly discontinuities.

It happens to me too.
I have modified my post anytime i see the repetition. Sometimes the repeat is not from the beginning of the post. So i thought that it must be where i left the cursor after proof reading my post. So i concluded that it must have been anything after the cursor that is repeated. I usually take the cursor to the end of text b4 sending.

I've been heavily disturbed by this problem as I'm a heavy mobile phone poster -nothing beats the ease of using a mobile, it usually happens when i make a long post but mostly when i insert a quote. Its not only embarrassing but could be pretty frustrating as well esp when you factor in all these slow networks. Nice to know someone's worried enough to look for a solution. Good one.

@wesley80. Yea, u right. It hppns mostly wit long posts. Hv u tried using newlines at d end of ur post? I checkd it again on some other forum and it worked. Posting with no newlines caused repetition at d end of post. With newlines no such prob.

I downloaded opera mini for my blackberry, and it worked really fine. I could reply posts - you can view a website fully using opera mobile.
BTW is the blackberry an originalmente one abi shinnna?
