I register dispatch riders on Uber and I always like to get feedback from them. So, I asked this new rider some questions and he let me know that he works between 4pm - 10pm on the Island doing 6 trips per day.

This is an impressive return of 1 trip per hour which means if he does 8 hours, he is likely to do 8 trips per day. If we assume on average, each trip earns him N2,000 and Uber gets 15%, that means he makes N16,000-N2,400= N13,600 per day. Let's assume that fuel and feeding takes like N3,600 per day. So he is making like N10,000 per day, net. Multiply this by 26 days assuming he doesn't work on Sundays. That's N260,000. If we deduct N30,000 for maintenance monthly. That's an income of N230,000 from Uber alone. There are rugged riders doing 15 to 20 trips per day both on and off Uber. While I don't advise this for anybody because of your health and that of your bike, you cannot deny, these guys are making good money that many graduates do not make.

Interested as a Dispatch Rider or Logistics Company Owner to get on Uber, please contact me via WhatsApp on 08085404500.

P.S: I don't own the bike and the rider is not my staff, but on the Uber platform, he falls under my watch and guidance to help him work smoothly without issues.

Uber's requirement for Nipost license is giving many riders and some logistics companies headache. You can contact me on WhatsApp- 08085404500 to help you resolve this.

Don't be discouraged, Uber is just following government requirements and you too can meet it with simple guidance.
