Armaggedon: It's easy to tell a drunkard a mile off.. You rate Owerri, Jos and Asaba above Kano and Kaduna? A state capital is not judged based on the number of beer parlours you find littered around. 2 Likes |

Olril18: I am not doubting you, like I said my visit to Both towns was very brief. Osogbo was about 10 yrs ago, Ado was more recent. It wouldn’t surprise me if Osogbo was better as you say, I know CBN, Osogbo steel plant, NMT and there is a significant electricity plant there. To be fair now that I think about it, I remember there was traffic in Osogbo and hardly any in Ado. 1 Like |

Broveens42: You’re going in cycles. I have been to Owerri and the only good thing about that place is the hotel’s everywhere! These are the indices that makes a city developed? There is no developed city in Nigeria apart from Abuja and some part of Lagos. Do you have all the basic infrastructure that meets all your need in Owerri? The only industry in Owerri is hotels. Her hospitals are not the best in eastern Nigeria. Same for the schools in Owerri. Do they follow town planning laws and build according to the building code? Don’t argue blindly. 1 Like |

Enugu is the most developed igbo state capital. Ikeja, Ibadan and Abeokuta (state capitals of 3 Yoruba states) are more developed than Enugu (the most developed igbo state capital). Ikorodu LG (in Lagos) is more developed than Ado Ekiti (a Yoruba state capital) and several other igbo state capitals. |

Mumu watch the video, it showed almost 80% of Owerri. Owerri is a slum and a glorified village. Owerri can only be compared to Aba. Stop deceiving yourself Pascal9: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eVrxjd-1oQ |
