Some people who went to school to study Agric or any non-medical course could still make this mistake.

It's not the school. It's the persons level of exposure

Lol, a lot of reason people in developing countries opined that their school is scam is because of the ways things are done there - first of all your rote learning approach will do you no good, it preclude critical thinking, problem solving skills and creativity. Since the whole thing comes down to grade (exam based learning).
People who can't think for themselves cannot create businesses that will create jobs, take away poverty and boost the standard of living.

Education in Nigeria is about the grading and "the just certificate" to show you passed through one Nigerian higher institution, any other things about Nigeria educational system is simply nonsensical and money making opportunity for the teacher/lecturer, management and government by foolishly exploiting parents and students in the name of giving them education that has outdated syllabus.

you are right boss, what annoys me the most i discovered that the elites we don't know or see control the curriculum used in schools, its always for their self-interest not for the masses. That's why occultic libraries are better than all schools combined libraries in the world together. Even religion too, oyinbo are tired, but why is it that Africans especially Nigerians see these things as gifts from Heaven, its just sad.

2 things:
1. This is not about Agric; don't feel attacked. It's just an example of courses that never get to use such words in their course materials.... Along with many other words by the way.

2. I had my degree in an Agric university.
