Ijaw as a tribe does not exist, what you call Ijaw today are mostly Igbos who migrated to the Eastern riverine areas and some free slaves.
As far back as 1850 , king jaja,an igboman from orlu (in imo state) was their paramount ruler, his decendants are still their czars.

The Ijaw people in Edo State occupy a space of 4,880 km2 slightly bigger than Anambra State of 4800 km 2.
The Ijaws in Edo share borders with Egbema Ijaws in Delta to the East and South, Bini to the West and Arogbo Ijaws in Ondo to the North. The Ijaws of Edo have 205 villages and settlements divided into 5 Kingdoms of Egbema, Olodiama West, Gbaraun, Furupagha and Okomu kingdoms. Ijaws are fully together but unjustly balkanized into 6 large Nigerian States of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States when we are fully together and not scattered by God. Ijaw is bigger than Hausa/Fulani and Yoruba Joined Together, Igbo is an understatement.

If not for politics of divide and rule, ijaw covers all the Southern coast of Nigeria.

I agree with you on this bro.

Technically Op is 100 correct. The Ijaw are black skin Hamites the Descendants of Egyptians. The Igbos are originally brown and they migrated into Africa from the MiddleEast. And it is quite possible that because the Ijaw and Benin used to enslave Igbos that alot of Igbos aren't Igbo. The father of many Igbo bloodlines could be Ijaw or Benin due to war rape committed by slave raiders of the two empires upon Igbo lands.

It's as I figured Ijaws are black skin and they descend from native people of Africa which are black Egyptian clans that spread out everywhere.

The Ijaw (also known by the subgroups "Ijo" or "Izon"wink are a collection of peoples indigenous mostly to the forest regions of the Bayelsa, Delta and Rivers States within the Niger Delta in Nigeria. Some are natives of Akwa Ibom, Edo and Ondo states also in Nigeria.

my brother some Yorubas can be low life. One was arguing with me the other day claiming to be Bini, then he said something that all The Binis have to be proud about is the Oba of Benin. That is a signal that he is Yoruba, since when the Oba rejected them, the Binis have not known rest. Look at the major people he mentioned they are those tribes they are not in consonance with (the Binis and the Igbos)His comments about Urhonigbe, his lack of knowledge about Esan gave him out.

I wish to educate the public that the entire landmass of the two local governments you can find the Ijaws are about 5thousand and hundred kilometers square. There are about 23 wards in these two local government and the Ijaws have about 3 and a half wards in total.

I also wish to educate the public that Ovia south west is an entirely rural Lga. While Ovia north east is at most 15 to 20 percent urban. So hence the population of the two local government is largely rural Binis which would not have been possible if the Ijaws were even up to 800km2 of the two local government, no matter how sparsely populated they are. The entire Esan land has about 3000km square, while Etsako land is about 2800km square and they have about 5 local government and three local government respectively.

These are the two local governments you can find them. And they have Nikorogha, Ofunama, Siluko and half of Oduna ward

https://www.amicidilazzaro.it/index.php/all-villages-town-and-cities-in-edo-state/

There are about 551 communities in Edo south local government of Oredo, Egor, Ikpoba Okha, Uhuwonde, Orhiowmon , Ovia north east and Ovia south west and the
Binis have well over 500 of those communities

I had to correct this impression before one clown that is allergic to research would quote this tomorrow

Even this one with an Igbo name Is clearly Yoruba, someone might be insulting the Igbos tomorrow, not knowing he is one slowpoke from south west

Yiibo people have conquered the entire south-south region...their next mission is to conquer the entire southwest...and they have mapped out a strategy to do so...
They have started implementing their heinous mission in the southwest through politics and with Peter Obi becoming the president of this country... They will perfect it while Yoruba people will not be able to do anything....
don't say what you don't know...Ijaws are not minority......and second, Ijaws were not part of biafra war, so there was no way what you said could happen.

You are third largest, and nobody knows you?

1. Can you be 900k in Kano, 4.9M in Lagos, 300k in Borno, 7M in rest of North, 2M outside Nigeria, 6M in SS, 37M in South East all at the same time?

Funny OP

2. Count one to fifty-five million (55M) a bit

If a proper census is ever done (privately or publicly), the Igbos could be found to be the most populous tribe in Nigeria, ahead of 2. Hausa; 3. Yoruba; 4. Ibibio; 5. Fulani and 6. Ijaw.

Manage sixth (2m - 5m).
the largest tribes in nigeria if proper cencus could conduct..
Hausa 19%
Yoruba 18
Ijaw 15%
Igbo 14%
Fulani 10%

LOL. And where are all of you hiding? Many Nigerians will attest that they have never met an Ijaw person. I've lived in all the geopolitical zones of Nigeria, and the only place I remember running into a significant number of Ijaw people was in Port Harcourt. And even there I still met more Igbos than Ijaws.

Ijaws are not even number 4. Ibibios, Fulani and possibly even Kanuris outnumber you guys.

The issue in Africa is that you do not respect religious freedom. The Igbos trajedy is a prime example of African monarchs not respecting religious freedom by forcing the Igbos to give up their people as sacrifices which they created the OSU out of love of justice. So rather than give up their people at random volunteers became willing sacrifices to the narcissistic pagan African rulers. These human sacrifices and evil cults have continued unto today and is the catalyst for insecurity in African society. Homosexuality and prostitution were apart of these ancient societies also continues unto today. Love of honesty and justice are keys to Cultural and Religious Reform.

Even if Biafra became a state y'all would still fight each other but even worse it would be a military war with no one to stop it The Nigerian Constitution keeps you as one and protects the rights of all ethnic groups within the Nigerian state. It has a powerful well disciplined military to protect one group from violating another. The National Youth Corps is functional allowing youths from different parts of Nigeria to experience the cultural differences in each region and learn to respect and learn from each ethnic group. Care for what you have by respecting each other's religion. Nigeria really has the potential to be a world empire extending beyond the coast across the Atlantic into South America and the Caribbean.

I am telling you the simple truth oga. Ijaw is bigger than all the tribes in Africa.

Ijaws that are hardly seen outside their land is bigger than Igbo that is seen in all part of the world. Ijaw people are very funny. Let them keep joking and dreaming and keep on claiming other people's land and population. I've said it time without number that even Ibibio is far larger than ijaw because you can see an Ibibio man anywhere you go even if it's in a small number.
