That's why setting attendance targets, among other such worldly practices in many church today, which makes people start preaching rubbish (the words of the flesh), which people want to hear instead of the Gospel of Christ which may not be so appealing to men, is very wrong, because it may fill up the church building with souls, but it will also make the church to be full of souls bound for hell fire instead of heaven.

God bless.

How Many Of Billions Of Christians On Earth Do You Think Would Make Heaven?

According to Wikipedia, there were approximately 2.4 billions Christians on earth.

That makes Christianity the world's largest religion.

Ordinarily that should be something worth shouting about for an adherent of the faith, however considering the fact that Christianity was not about what men see but about what God sees, how many of those billions of Christians do you think were actually known to God?

How many of them were actually saved and bound for heaven?

I saw a post a brother shared here not too long ago concerning the general overseer of RCCG, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

It was about what God once told him about the hundreds of thousands or even millions of people that would attend the Holy Ghost congress from every part of the country and beyond during one of those annual gatherings.

God told him He didn't know up to a hundred of them.

Now kindly take a deep breath and ponder on that saying, so the meaning could sink deeply to enable you grasp it fully.

Out of hundreds of thousands or even millions of people, God said He knew less than a hundred of them.

That's less than 0.1 percent, which means that more than 99.9 percent of Christians attending that particular church program were bound for hell from God's own point of view.

So just imagine that compared to what many Christians believe.

Doesn't that already show how far they were from the reality of heaven?

The only reason many Christians will be surprised by that reality is if they allowed themselves to be deceived by doctrines and ideas of men in the church, and not abide by the Truth and Words of the Spirit which Jesus preached, because Jesus already taught us that the way that gate that leads to life was narrow and that which leads to destruction was broad.

Matthew 7:13-14 (KJV)

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

This is the reason why He asked us to strive to enter into the gate that leads to life, because it's not easy to enter into it as many have been misled to think but hard.

Luke 13:24 (KJV)

Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

It's the gate that leads to destruction that's. not hard but easy to enter so you wouldn't need to stress yourself or strive to enter because it's broad.

That's why we shouldn't be deceived by the mammoth crowd gatherings in some churches, because most (not all) of them were broad as the gate that leads to destruction, in the sense of the gospel they preach, as it is that which was appealing to the flesh and what men want to hear, hence many go in, but the end thereof is death and destruction, because the flesh profits nothing. It's the Spirit that gives life.

That why we should follow the example of Jesus (the Narrow way) who preached the Word of the Spirit, regardless if it offended many of His false disciples and make them to leave because of His preaching. John

It better to have a few church members (200), and just 10% (20) who were bound for hell, than to have many church members (hundreds of thousands or million) and less than 0.1% of them were heaven bound.

God bless.

@Op you're just considering only the Christians that are currently alive. How about the Christians that has died millions and thousands years ago, and the ones yet to be born?

You'll agree with me that the number will be in billions of trillions.

Now, how many out of this huge number will make it to heaven?

Funniest question ever.

Since the time of Adam and Eve, the number of people that had made heaven are not up to 20 in number.

You think making heaven is easy?

Especially the way our useless men of God and daddy G.Os in Nigeria behave.

Abeg talk another thing.

Honestly I think less than 1% professing Christians will make heaven. Many people claiming to be Christians do koto even know what Christianity is.

By the way, 1% is 24million. I might be wrong but I doubt up to 24 million Christians will enter heaven

Being a Christian by name or affiliation is very much differnt from being a Christian. To be candid less than 10% of those who call themselves Christians are Christians.
So don't get it confused.
Even your pastor may not be a Christian. You heard right.

And don't be decieved, going to church doesn't make you a Christian. The devil goes to church. He sends his agents there.

There are more atheist in Church than outside....many unbelievers in church than in a club..
The list is endless bro

everyone in Christianity will make heaven.
All the billions irrespective of who they are .

As for Adeboye saying God did not know up to a hundred of them that's a big lie.

Scriptures says but as many that received him, to them he gave power to become..

So the number doesn't matter

According to YOUR Bible, only the 144,000 saints shall be raptured and will be with God in heaven to serve as councilors and elders. The remaining humans shall be on earth and the earth shall become Paradise which they will tend to and make beautiful, and that is after the wicked humans (like Tinubu and Lai Muhammed) have been thrown into the “Lake of Fire” with their grandfather, The Devil. And oh, the demons and witches that fly at night. grin

Wickedness and death shall become a thing of the past as Jesus will make everything anew and all iniquities will be thrown into the bottomless pit (The Abyss) together with the great Dragon for a thousand years so that he shall deceive humans no more.

Jesus Christ shall reign as King of the earth and everyone will live happily ever after. What a story! 😁

It is only 144,000 that will go to heaven and rule with Jesus over those on the Earth.(Revelation 14:1-3) These ones were brought from the earth to rule with Jesus over those on the earth (Revelation 7:9) these ones are the great crowd that nobody was able to number. They will stay in the earth and enjoy the Rulership of Jesus and the 144,000
That time the Earth will be made A Paradise (Psalms 37:9-11,29) . Things like death, sickness, pain, suffering, hungry and everything making people to suffer will be more. Revelation 21:3,4) Then God's original purpose for this earth which is for Everybody to fill the earth and enjoy it will be fulfilled.
