Hahaha ! The funny part is that, out of all the Nigerian hosts, Whogohost is the most expensive. Try namecheap or bluehost if you want peace of mind.

we offer webHosting also. Issue is, we don't advertise it much because most Nigerians are after paying ₦300 per month hostings with all things unLIMITED.

and yes, other than our own HOSTING, can't use Nigerian Hostings. I love using homeGrown products and services but reality often comes to play.

as for whoGoHost, I don advice dem tire. nowAdays, I use them only for .ng Domain registrations and even that one sef na wahala. Had to move a domain because for days, couldn't renew the domain - all their payment methods kept rejecting our cards. and their customerCare was very unHelpFul, asking we contact our bank, despite repeatedly telling them we have tried it on several other accounts few minutes before calling.
2-days later, same card went through.
Recently same issue occured, I kukuma ask my colleagues to transfer to another host as the app was for a financial institution, and wasn't willing to waste the time we spent earlier. Now we have transfered the domain for over 1-week, yet on whoGoHost, you still could manage the domain, and do things such as edit, manage nameServers, etc; this na domain wey we don transfer teytey. Call their customerCare, and spent over11-minutes telling them the issue which I knew was from their system because whois already shows the domain has been successfully transfered, and domain no fit dey 2 places.


Anyway na so many madeInNigeria things be.

I have contacted them. They keep saying they are working on it. I can't access my Cpanel. People are already dragging to them on Twitter.

now imagine if this were to be a time sensitive business app.

aTimes when I see the kind of clients they showCase on their homePage, I begin to wonder how accurate that is. We might be small, but with the kind of client we have, just an error is enough to give you highBlood pressure.

But then again, mayBe their clientel have priority ratings of which you might be much lower down the chain. Also they don't own their own serverfarm, hence whatever issue they're experiencing must be from their side.

This is why having backUps pays, but lots of clients either don't understand, or ain't willing to take such step
