We can only be united if all tribes and religion see each other as one and equal.A country where some tribe eg Igbos are treated like they are not part of the country.A country where two different laws are operating.Until we start rebuilding in truth and trust, nigeria will not be one in feature if this level of tribalism and hate experience during this election continue. Our youth too should try not to be tools in the hands of our politicians. If staying together will bring us more pain and agony,I suggest we separate peacefully.

Is that another word for TRIBALISM?
Because that’s the bane of Nigeria at the moment.

OUR MORE VISIONARY FORESIGHTED COLONIAL MASTERS BEQUEATHED REGIONAL STRUCTURE TO US IN 1960. AFTER TAKING COGNIZANCE OF OUR IRRECONCILABLE DIVERSITIES.

WE ABANDONED THIS FACTORY SETTING FOR UNITARY FEDERALISM AS IT IS.

TODAY DISTRUST & MISTRUST IS ANOTHER NAME FOR NIGERIA.

IGBO AND YORUBA CANNOT TRUST EACH OTHER.

MINORITIES AND MAJOR ETHNIC GROUPS CANNOT TRUST EACH OTHER.

CHRISTAINS AND MUSLIMS CANNOT TRUST EACH OTHER.

WE MUST REVERT TO THE FACTORY SETTING (REGIONAL FEDERALISM) OR ELSE WE WOULD TEAR EACH OTHER AND THE COUNTRY APART WITHIN THE NEXT DECADE.

THOSE WITH COMPARATIVE ADVANTAGE IN TERMS OF THE POWER THEY WIELD & POPULATION THEY WILL NOT LIKE THIS ADVICE. BUT THAT WOULD BE OUR UNDOING.

THIS IS WHAT ABURI ACCORD IS ABOUT
THIS IS WHAT SOVEREIGN NATIONAL CONFERENCE IS ABOUT.

A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE!

One of the many kvetching people destroying Nigeria...Obasanjo and obidients are on another level of destructive campaigns against the Nigerian state. Obidients are in two groups, the never satisfied and the the ones calling Nigeria Zoo or smuggling drugs to destroy Nigeria's Image.

This is one of the reasons nigeria will not work, the coup of 1967 want carry out by nigeria soldiers.turning it into tribal coup was the greatest mistake of our leaders.Killing of igbo civilians is another mistake. We have decided to forget about all and build a new nation, but if that's impossible let separate peacefully.

...one narialander rightly asked sometime ago..
" since no nation can make progress where tribalism reigns supreme, why do we pretend to want to build a nation?

This question gave me serious concern and worry becos its thought-provoking.

You had the opportunity to let them go in 1967 but you refused. There's consequences for that action, deal with it.
They had the opportunity to choose a referrendum clause in our constitution at independence but fought against it, they even fought against the nigerdelta republic declared by adaka boro, yet to you are the loudest crying for freedom. Quit self deceit and tell yourselves the truth for once. Has nigeria and indeed the south been more divided since ipob started their madness?

People should learn to take responsibility and stop giving excuses.
Re: Lack Of Trust Tearing Up Nigeria, Says Edwin Clark by DMerciful(m): 12:27pm On May 26, 2023
Lets assume there was referendum clause in the 1963 constitution, do we use that constitution today? It was thrown out in 1966 and Nigeria has never gone back to that constitution.

The biggest contributor to disunity is lack of equity and justice. But ofcourse, you'd like to deceive yourself that Igbos are the problem but angry with IPOB for attempting to break Igbos away from Nigeria, when you should be happy

Elder Clark... We are already past this level!

The situation has already deteriorated... Honestly, it might be too late now!

You politicians and elder statesmen have been looting the nation using Divide and Rule tactics in order to keep the youths and citizens too divided to fight against you all!

You people always drum up songs and preachings about unity whenever it suits you!

This nation will never be United! Facts!

YOU ARE ONE OF THE Agbayas PARTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE WAY THE COUNTRY TURNS.

What is "Brutally frank" in your thoughtless empty presentation?

THE PARTISANSHIP INSINCERE EXPRESSIONS YOUR ILK PROJECTED IN THE JUST CONCLUDED PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS BEARS TESTIMONY TO THE UNTRUTHFULNESS OF YOUR SLEAVES.

Your generation was a band disappointing elders cloaked in non-statesman's garbs.

THE ACTIONS AND ATTITUDES DISPLAYED BY YOURSELF AND SOME OF YOUR CONTEMPORARIES IN THE PROCESS WAS THAT OF HOPELESS BRIGANDS AND SULKING SPOILT CHILDREN.

The leaked audio of the conspiratorial arms bearing intentions with plans to take over Nigeria through CRASS heads likes, of the little brain LITTLE boy Charley boy bears testament to the facts of this assertion.

Edwin Clarks's rendition was brutally empty in all ramifications.

Tinubu will have little wins here and there but will lose a couple of major ones which will see him removed.

The Supreme Court judgment today is a big win for Obi because Tinubu's entire counter petition is based on Obi joining LP less than 30days before primaries. Now it's settled APC lacks locus standi to challenge Obi's candidacy.

Obi is very wise, came with his petition from all angles, atleast two must stick.
can you pls shut up and be logical for once.
