Ibadan remains the most beautiful city of all times. Many people only see the different part of an elephant.

The vast land mass of Ibadan, an ancient city, do not allow strangers to realize that the most beautiful cities in Africa can fit snugly into Ibadan.

Put Abuja inside Ibadan, it cannot compete with Bodija.

Put Lagos inside Ibadan, it cannot compete with Agodi.

Put Cairo inside Ibadan it cannot compete with Bodija.

I do not even know about the late developments in Ibadan. But it is better to keep those developments out of reach, otherwise the next chorus would be Go Ibadan Young Men Go Ibadan. Not Go West Young Men Go West.

But distractors are only interested in the slum areas as if New York City does not have slums. But Nigeria would never send those pictures home.

If Ibadan is divided into cities, no city in the world could compete.

Abuja cannot compete with Oke Ado.

Look all cities look the same in pictures these days. This is a fact, not a project for me.

Do you realize Ibadan is bigger than some states in Nigeria?

When comparing a case like this, think about institution, culture and system making up the City. Economic, Social, Educational, Hospitals from health clinics to Teaching hospitals and then safety and security. A big civilized city is not just made up buildings.

Take Oke Ado which I completely forgot for example. This is where many of the old money are located including Liberty Stadium, old secondary schools like Ibadan Grammar School, St. Ann, St. Theresa and many others.

Ibadan, the producer of old clean money and movers of Africa.

I have not been to Ibadan for ages and I am not from there!

We've been reading how Ibadan is more developed than Beijing and shanghai combined...yet no single picture.


The ones we managed to see, is either colored like emefiele new naira notes or just a section is captured( no aerial view)

Like I stated before, this is not about building or edifice you can find in any city.

Pictures do not display the Economic, Social, Educational or Cultural systems that made this Ancient City the capital of civilization where everyone from all over the world feel comfortable and secured than any place in Africa.

You are Welcomed as long as you know your place and respect culture.

Do you want to know how many heads of States received treatment at their teaching hospitals, how many professors from Africa and beyond stayed put and refused to leave, how many big and small businesses stayed put etc.

Can someone please name the most hassle free work place in the world where Africans, Europeans, Americans and Asians get along with least discrimination outside Africa.
