Now that the current APC National leader has been elevated to GCFR, and to be installed with the staff of office on May 29th , we are left to gossips and illuminates into deeper political issues of the personality of the next fit APC national leader.

Some names readily comes to mind, do kindly add the potential candidates you deem suited for this toothless but influential office

Emilokan Tinubu will remain the national leader of all politicians in Africa.

As for APC, the unofficial deputy national leader is Chief Bisi Akande. Chief Bisi Akande will be the next rallying point of the APC. El-Rufai, Kwankwaso, and others that you mention do not have that maturity. A leader must be ready to be insulted and must forgive those insulting him at every time.

In that case it’ll go to El-Rufai. Or Yahaya Bello. (national leader may easily get hodge to become the next president when power goes to North, i mentioned Bello since he’s a north central and it’s the next north to vie for presidency.

But since sw took se slot when it got to southern turn to be president. El rufai May take north central turn and claim the agreement is between north and south and not to rotate it among the sub geo political zones.


So I tip el rufai but Oshiomole is a worthy mention just that south and south makes north barren.

There is no position of national leader in any political party's constitution. The national chairman is already a Northerner and that is the highest postion in the party. National leader is just an unofficial title, not a position oin the party


You also said the SW took the turn of SE to get the Presidency, now expatiate, what is the contribution of SE to the APC which will make APC to give its Presidential ticket to the SE?

In 2015 and 2019, SE gave less than 20% votes to APC, should APC now waste its ticket by giving it to people who hate the party so much?

Anyway, we have proven in three consecutive elections now that SE is insignificant in the decision of who becomes Nigeria's President. Next election, APC will not even go to SE to campaign at all, instead, the party will go to the SS to get more percentage.

The ceremonial title 'National Leader' was created for Tinubu because of his unique status in APC.

He and Buhari were behind the creation of the party. Buhari became the president. Tinubu, the other giant in APC was thetefore ceremonially referred to as National Leader.

The unique circumstances that led to Tinubu becoming National Leader no longer exists. People like El rufai don't come close.

Also, before you can refer to another person in APC as National Leader, you will first have to remove Tinubu from that role.

That's not going to happen.
