The practice of attending church and engaging in worship is considered important for many Christians. While there is no specific biblical command that explicitly states that Christians must attend church, there are several reasons why it is encouraged and seen as beneficial. Here are a few points to consider:

Fellowship and community: The church provides a place for believers to gather together, support one another, and build meaningful relationships. In Hebrews 10:24-25, it says, "And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another."

Worship and praise: Corporate worship allows Christians to express their love and gratitude to God collectively. It is a time to honor and glorify Him as a community. Psalm 95:1-2 says, "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song."

Instruction and teaching: Church services often include sermons and teachings based on the Bible. These messages provide spiritual guidance, biblical knowledge, and practical applications for living out the Christian faith. Acts 2:42 describes the early Christians: "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."

Accountability and growth: Regular church attendance helps Christians stay accountable in their spiritual journey. It provides opportunities for growth, discipleship, and the development of spiritual gifts. Ephesians 4:11-12 states, "So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up."

While attending church is encouraged, it is important to note that one's relationship with God is not solely dependent on attending a physical church building. It is impotant to maintain a strong personal relationship with God through prayer, reading the Bible, and engaging in spiritual practices.

But all here is religious hogwash and nothing of Jesus Christ or Scripture taken in context as I already made clear in my previous discussions with you on the subject. undecided

Again, Jesus Christ warned you that by imbibing these doctrines and traditions of men which He clearly said were lies meant to delude and deceive you lot, you nullify the power of God in your lives and render your worship of God meaningless - Matthew 15 vs 1 - 14 & Mark 7 vs 1 - 13. undecided

"And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching." - Hebrews 10:24-25

The assembling of the Hebrews as commanded by God Himself is found in the books of the Law, for example
4 “These are the Lord’s chosen festivals. You will announce the holy meetings(Holy assemblies) at the times chosen for them.
5 The Lord’s Passover is on the 14th day of the first month[a] just before dark.
6 “The Lord’s Festival of Unleavened Bread is on the 15th day of the same month. You will eat unleavened bread for seven days.
7 On the first day of this festival, you will have a special meeting(Holy Assembly). You must not do any work on that day.
8 For seven days, you will bring sacrifices offered as gifts to the Lord. Then there will be another special meeting(Holy Assembly) on the seventh day. You must not do any work on that day.” - Leviticus 13 vs 4 - 8
What you observe in your churches was never commanded by God as you clearly see in His Old Law which He gave to the Hebrews in the Land of Canaan, and has nothing to do with Jesus Christ who also never commanded your gatherings. undecided

Christ Jesus chose 12 Apostles among his Jewish disciples this twelve will become rulers over all faithful people throughout the earth, Jesus called the uncountable millions "house of Israel" {Matthew 19:28} but then his Jewish apostles needs assistance because they don't know the different cultures of people around the world they are going to rule under Christ's headship.
So to open the door for this people Jesus chose Paul (a Jewish zealot) who is faithful and loyal to the laws of God but vast in cultures of different nations. Act 9:15
Paul became the Apostle for all the people of the nations {1Timothy 2:7} as God's Holy Spirit is directing him on how to help people of other nationalities to apply Christ's teachings.
According to apostle Paul Christians must come together regularly to discuss on how to do the work Christ assigned to them! Hebrews 10:24-25
From the moment that letter was read in all the congregations anyone who makes it his habit to be absent from Christian meetings is no longer a member of Christ's church! Act 2:42

"Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him." - Proverbs 26:12

"Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” - 1 Corinthians 3:18-20

Notice how you resort to quoting verses out of context in an Ad hominem attack — attack mode— rather than actually confronting what is revealed in the verses I quote regarding claims that you made. It reveals even more that you don't care about the Truth of God but are satisfied in getting your ego caressed at the cost of the integrity of scripture. It is a signature for a lot of you Churchians. undecided
