Guys which is the best between code igniter and Laravel. Have not try Laravel but I really love code igniter because it is very simple. It give you the advantage to use MVC and HMVC. Very easy to manage. Is Laravel better than code igniter, I want to know from senior programmers here??

First framework is there to make work easier and also fast to deliver with less buggy code

Are good but I will tell u based on popular demand larval is more popular

This is my 4 years using CI

I use the latest version and I will tell you something
CI4 is bomb I don't have need to learn another framework for php

If u want to learn another framework it should be JavaScript framework

Just learn how to do api for ci4 my brother u are good to go

Lit html,shoelace or kor ui learn those also when u make web app person won't even know php is involved in the soup

first of all using laravel makes life easier when building app and it introduce u to allot of things
1. Design patterns(u will hear and learn things like facades,observer,contracts, dependency injection and dependency Injection containers,singleton) patterns

2. It gives u alot of things out of the box the only thing is just set the configuration and you are good to go eg(mailing, and storage system(S3 etc), a schedular(Cron)

3. A good orm(eloquent) if you know how to use this believe me u go dey run from raw SQL

4. It blends well with JavaScript framework most especially Vuejs ( u can use it with react as well) but the community use mostly Vue js

Na you dey play. No serious minded company and person uses codeigniter in this time. Unless you just love to suffer yourself.

Anybody can structure express anyhow they like just like codeigniter but nestjs, it's all a concise pattern.
All developers can follow through with slight modifications on how they connect to their DB. I use typeorm sha. Schema first approach.

Well the problem with express is that it's not fast, but it is very easy to setup. And you can do anyhow you like

Fastify with nestjs really does live up to its name.
