Where are the prophets and proponents of doom? Our type of Christianity in Nigeria is worrisome. Christianity that hates people who do not belong to your denomination. Christianity that preaches hatred even on the altars. In some parts of Nigeria if you are not a Catholic it will be difficult to become a Christian. There is a story in the bible where Jesus and his disciples were going somewhere. They were rejected in that place . His disciples saw this and asked Jesus if they should call fire from heaven to destroy those who rejected them just as Elijah called fire on people. But Jesus answered them 'You do not know the kind of spirit in you' . 'The son if man came not to destroy life but to save life'. I can say here boldly that the kind of Christianity we practice here is different from the teaching of Jesus Christ.
Many so called prophets, pastors etc have claimed that today's inauguration would not hold. Many of the proponents of doom here on Nairaland were also posting their messages of doom. Some said they dreamt, some saw vision some said they heard audible voice. But they have been put to shame. Woe unto anyone who says thus God says when God says nothing.
Where are your prophets pastors, bishops so so and so who have prophesied negatively against this day? Their new prophecy is that Tinubu will not last but I can tell you that their devilish prophecies will still fail because they are not from God.
This is the day the Lord has made, we shall rejoice and be glad in it.

I think Christianity should start retracing, Jesus never condemned

As a Christian and a fervent follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am deeply disappointed by the way a lot of false prophets and prophets of doom kept disgracing themselves (because they cannot disgrace the Christiandom) all over the media because they had a favourite candidate who is not God's will for Nigeria.

To them, whatever they decide and agree must be God's will. But God is not a respecter of any man. He does His things without permission from any man.

Here in Abuja, you will find a lot of these so-called revered "god of men" financing the flamboyant lifestyles of young women. A particular pastor doles out between 400k to 500k almost every week to a lady I know in exchange for sexual gratification. When the lady is gisting us how the pastor likes to "lick plate", I get mostly disgusted. At the end, God will judge us all according to the works of our hands.

Meanwhile, I am here to confidently announce that 2015-2023 is different from 2023-2031. For every GBAS, there must a corresponding GBOS. Yorubas are not Northerners that you lots can bully online and on media spaces without getting an equal and appropriate rebuttal. If you love us, we love you. If you hate us, we hate you.
