Courtesy demand that you either accept and show appreciation for the gift or politely reject it. You have to make up ur mind .what you should be concerned about is the condition of the car. Was it giving them problem ?what is the present condition and cost of repairs? Those are the question that should be going through ur mind. Too much analysis leads to paralysis. With 130k monthly Salary, you should still be able to maintain a decent car & progress proportionally in life. Interestingly, if you put yourself in so much hardship in life in order to own a property at the expense of your personal comfort, you have only succeeded in working for others at your own peril in this limited & ephemeral life. My simple advice is that you enjoy life while it lasts because no one knows tomorrow and nobody gets out here alive. You just dey yarn dust the truth is, the Nigerian state requires having a car as TOP priority before owning a house. If you can maintain it comfortably, it has more advantage against it's disadvantage. 3 Likes |
