^^^You definitely need psychiatric attention.

Indians who worship COWS still honour and respect their religion till tomorrow.

Including the few that are christian and muslim.

You will never hear them disrespect their traditional religion.

Your own colonial brainwashing was seriously intense.

Disgusting.

Benin never gave any serious fight as it was already a shadow of itself after slave trade was banned and Portuguese left. No more easy money from slave trade to maintain the criminal enterprise of the Portuguese erroneously called Benin empire

You do not know what you are talking about.

Stop projecting, Sir.

Benin, was already Benin, way before the Portuguese.

And most of what the other chap is posting here(even tho can be an annoying character) is correct.

If you had a working brain, you would know that it was the invading looters that led to our people ''reasoning'' the way they reason today.

The people of Benin at that time were not mentally colonised christians and muslims speaking English and forming accent and greedy for money like you, bleaching your skins, straightening your hair and all sorts of rubbish you do today, having lost your moral values and sense of self-worth.

So do not say that they should have been invaded just because of the way YOU are today.

YOU are a product of the policy of those invaders.

That is why you hate yourselves and don't even believe you are the equal of others on Earth.

The invaders deliberately messed up your heads big time.

You're totally different from the ancient people of Benin.

In fact the way you people are today, they would struggle to believe that you are actually their descendants.

Do you know that the people then built houses with no front doors?

EVEN THE RICHEST PEOPLE with the BIGGEST houses.

No front door.

There was no need, because the idea that a person would enter your house to steal was unheard of.

It just wasn't done.

And not just in Benin. EVERYWHERE in what we call Nigeria today.

If you don't know, go to your village and ask the elders. They will confirm it instantly.

You are a totally different, lost generation, with your useless imported christian and muslim religions that allow you to be greedy, wicked criminals while pretending to be pious and godly.

Now with your foreign imported garbage religions, armed robbery, corruption, kidnapping, terrorism, bigotry, fraud and other ills, are the order of the day.

Una continue. Don't return to your roots.

Shebi oyinbo don brainwash una say una roots dey inferior?

After burning down your cities and looting your treasures, they gave you an invented white fool to worship as your ''saviour'' (Mental conditioning 101. White man becomes your god, leading to extreme racial inferiority complex and playing second fiddle to them - happily)

I pray the universe bring more and more of your type to africa
The way you insulted that guy is not enough, I created a thread to curse all those who practice the religion of those who made africa this way, I cursed the Catholics especially who went as far as bowing down to white images and yet complain of racism. May all the bastardds who have refused to have sense be reincarnated as slaves in their next lives again and again until they become wise

These are just artistic drawing from fanciful imaginations

Do you know that sometimes, what people draw from their imaginations are events of ancient past that is replaying on their heads.

I don’t know if you may understand this but let me try my best to explain to you; if you understand a system and set theory, everything within a closed system is balanced. And the universe is a system, there’s nothing impossible within the universe as long as it can be imagined. This means every thing imaginable is not new, it has been imagined before and has been in existence.
As long as you as a part of the universe, everything possible that you can imagine has already been imagined before and existed before, both the future, present and past. So when you see someone drawing something out of his imagination, it is nothing new, either it has happened before on this earth or in a different world or it is happening far away somewhere else in the galaxy.

African should tell us their 21st century achievements before laying claim to any ancient civilization. Everything Benin using to boast was made possible by the Portuguese. Every other things before Portuguese is just fairytale. Look at Alafin of Oyo palace that has claiming nonsense as if it was greater than Rome

Your shame knows no bound.
I am sure you think your name Ogene is the name of the Jewish Jehovah god.
And I am sure you will rather believe that Noah the Jewish is your ancestor from the flood era.

If I point to Buhari and say he is your grandfather, you will say I’m crazy because you will ask me how can a Fulani looking man be your ancestor.
But they tell you that Ogene is from Israel and your ancestor is a white man called Noah, and you did not put a thought to it but swallowed it.
Boy, you have been cut off from your history and you are pathetic and in a sad state. May you find help soon

The post says the palace in the drawing dates from the 13th century. That doesn't sound right. During his takeover of power in the 15th century, Ewuare burnt down the old palace and built a new one.

This palace, therefore, dated from the mid-15th century at the earliest.

Oga Rossikki,

Your passion for protecting and defending our culture and history is unrivalled. I think you’ll be great as the head of an academic institution or a researcher.....but you can curse and swear for Africa.

You can actually educate and expose the ignorance in someone and make them more embarrassed than the venom that you spit at someone whom you disagree with or despise.

Btw....only a core Igbo man would use those words at the end of this post.

You are a combination of Joe Igbokwe and Lai Mohammed.

Because I don't understand this level of self-hate you're both displaying.

Even some white people whose ancestors engaged in the evil slave trade still beat their chest, claim superiority and own their shameful history. With that kind of history, they are still proud of their race.

Benin was a Portuguese criminal enterprise, all it's acclaimed glory lasted during Portuguese slave trade. Africa should stop deceiving themselves

The Basic Misconception About The Ancient Benin People

Although there are still some Europeans who wrote the truth despite the widespread misconceptions about Benin, the benins did once take part in a gesture whereby they provided workers for the Portuguese in exchange for their good friendship to work as laborers in the Portuguese colony of Sao Tome and Principe. However, they only did this for the Portuguese and never for any other European country. the relationship between benin and Portuguese lasted for 200yrs from the 1400 to 1600, tho this gesture by the benins to the Portuguese never lasted that long before the benins ended it on the terms of morality the benins believed the souls of the people gifted without the people approval could bring bad omen to their land The Benins and the British had a rift not because the British intended to end slavery as they made us believe, the act already being a taboo in Benin, but rather to gain control of palm oil, and in 1700 Oba Adolo made a decree to officially punish Benin merchant who engaged in the act of slave trading illegal.
Before the arrival of the first Europeans, the Portuguese, the benins controlled a large area of territories. The Portuguese refused to sell benin weapons on the grounds that it was a pagan nation, so benin never gained power as a result of Europeans or her trade with Europe merchants. not until the arrival of the Dutch in the 1600 who were willingly to exchange guns with benins for Benin local goods like pepper, ivory tusk, clothes, local wine, although the benin employed the help of European military assistance against her enemies in few occasions, the benins were wealthy because they were economically independent even when the European decided to sanction benin trades they saw the benin weren't really affected the only way to stop benin was to attack it to get full control of the Niger area now called Nigeria

Rostikol,

As usual, very impressive work on your part to educate many lost sheep into Islam, Christianity and slavery.

The vestiges of indoctrination and slavery have not left us. It is so bad, we took History out of schools to be filled with the work of those who justify slavery.

It should be noted though that we find these beauties from Sudan to old Zimbabwe. Despite today suzerainty, we are one people with more in common. If Nigerians deny one another but hang on to Egypt or Israel that came into existence after them, what should we expect of those further away?

Moreover, I sometimes wonder about how much Art and Archeology we have lost to rain and moisture. If some of the Arts stolen had remained in such weather, we may not have preserved them.

Even the ones returned are re-looted for foreign money that has replaced some oblongata medulla
