Yes, that is what the 1999 constitution said. |

Yes. In fact, there's currently a case in court against the Oyo State Governor on this issue. |

I'm sure some have. I think the rule is if you choose to become a citizen on another country. A Tokunbo should be allowed to. |

olawalebab:NO IT IS NOT TRUE. check other threads on this topic. the constitution states that a natural born nigerian cannot loose his Nigerian citizenship by becoming the citizen of another country. that said, hopefully, this case will get all the way to the supreme court and a final interpretation will be rendered to put to rest this citizenship drama |
