Tinubu's First Act Of Embezzlement by Strafudeen: 5:11pm On Jun 04, 2023
He has corrupted diverted subsidy funds captured in the budget up to 30th June 2023.

If he is suddenly discontinuing subsidy, should he also eat the money already appropriated for it in the budget for up to 1 solid month?

Yet his followers are playing games

Did you listen to the NNPC boss? There's no cash backing for the budgeted amount. NNPC was paying on behalf of FG.

cool

Like Obi like his supporters

.You don't even understand how budget estimate works

In your mind now you think all the Money budgeted in 2022 have been released by CBN and Ministry of finance

Budget is simply estimation of how you plan to spend your future income, using $dollar prediction and also crude oil benchmark price

Calm down Oga.. "captured in the budget" doesn't mean it has been disbursed. Workers salary till the end of the year is also in the budget, have they been paid?

Petrol is purchased monthly in advanced so the one for June is already in storage.

Common sense is not so common.

So they purchased subsidised petrol and you're now selling to Nigerians at 550 , is this lack of common sense or stupidity or thiwfnubu criminality?

Was there subsidy or not, are they selling consistent with subsidy or not? These are the questions....thiwfnubu is too dull to pull of such a heist

So now that subsidy has been discontinued, what happens to the money , has anyone explained? Is it not illegal to use appropriated funds for something else?

I agree πŸ’― percent with the op.

there was no money. Government is even owing NNPCL 2.8trn for the subsidy they helped FG pay for the previous months

2022 nigeria's appropriation for fuel subsidy exceeds the appropriation for education and health, welfare budget. Yet the same subsidized fuel is hoard and sold, not even to nigerians but smuggled to neighboring countries, the cabals are getting richer while the poor masses are left to suffer, yet you obidafts are keen on frustrating the effort to redemption just because the man in charge is not your candidate. is that not madness?
Glad enough this will even reduce NNPCL's monopoly on fuel market and give room for others. Do you know what that means ? It's means there will be a healthy competition which is even likely to bring the price of fuel down. And the huge budget for subsidy will be channel into other sectors that will make us a less impoverished nation.

Let me predict what will happen this week.πŸ‘‡πŸΎ

NLC/TUC will bark and scream about a planned strike action.

Then the FG will announce that after an intense β€˜discussion’ with Labour, a compromise has been reached, and the new pump price of Petrol is 320 Naira per liter.

Then the fuel subsidy scam will continue.

Na una dey rate NLC.πŸ˜‚
