Even Napoleon Bonaparte, who is considered the greatest General who ever lived, lost the war against Russia more than 200 years ago. Some NATO politicians and military people genuinely believe now there are no red lines becase Putin hasn't nuked Kiev or London so far.

All kind of escalations are supported.

They believe Putin is only capable of bluffing and NATO Ukraine can just capture Crimea or Donetsk.

We even hear fantasies about NATO destroying Russian fleet if Russia launches nuclear weapons.

Russia launches nuclear strikes and then just accepts NATO destroying Russian military?

Such delusions about Crimea and red lines can only lead to global nuclear holocaust.

Indeed Putin bluffed few times too many and NATO gradually kept escalating by sending more and more weapons.

At some point he will be left with no choice but to show that his words aren't just empty bluffs.

Then it could be too late for everyone to avoid a disaster.

Russians must be careful
They will have to let Ukrainians some small successes...
Otherwise Kiev wil call the suicide mission called Spring Offensive off too early.
The best thing Russia can hope for is NATO trained dudes running deeper into the killing zones.

Two dangerous assumptions for Ukraine now.

One that the counteroffensive can only be successful, even after taking big losses they will continue to push believing they can only be victorious.

And another that Russia isn't capable of launching own offensive afterwards.

Yesterday Putin hinted at potential operation to protect the Russian border. Most likely in Kharkov region but also Sumy and Chernigov.

If Ukraine invests too much into the counteroffensive it can happen during Ukraine's attacks in Zaporozhye or after the counteroffensive.

Can't afford to have all NATO equipment destroyed during the counteroffensive and then just hope Russia is also depleted and doesn't have enough more mobilized troops for counterattack which could even happen in Zaporozhye or in Kharkov region to help with Donbass operation.
