he has to produce something that is easily sellable on quick returns and yet of benefits to the buyer.

the demand for electric cars is not high enough to inspire production of such cars at large scale.

If he produce solar powered vehicles the sales will triple this gas powered vehicles he did.

I wish I have the resources I wld produce solar cars and I wld still be the one that wld build the charging stations all over Nigeria.

They should also consider creating a sub company( Innoson Weapons or IVM weapons) that will focus mainly on producing weapons e.g guns, bulletproof etc for our security agencies and other Africa countries. We need to stop begging foreign countries to sell weapons to us.

The worst gun and bulletproof they will produce will be far better that the ones that are being used by the Nigerian police.

You can build and electric car
It used batteries.
You can get an inverter system to charge the car
But you need exponentially large and expensive solar panels to charge ONE electric car before sunset.

If you decide to just carry the panels and gum it on the car, such that it is a 100% solar car, it will look ridiculous and it will also be stupidly expensive.

1, The Government through the tripartite committee including Labour, TUC, the organized private sector and other stakeholders have unanimously agreed on the need for alternative sources of energy including the consideration on CNG vehicles.

2, Innoson Motors is already positioned to commence production immediately. Recall that the Buhari administration also awarded him contracts to supply official / patrol vehicles for Government agencies before splitting it with Dangote (Peugeot) . Innoson builds armoured tanks also for the Nigerian Military as such his capacity is not in doubt.

3,The Tinubu Administration and tripartite committee before the next meeting on Thursday 19th of June, 2023 should invite this enigmatic entrepreneur together with other competitors for an open bid /pitch on the modalities and cost of supply of this CNG vehicles to enable a speedy kick start of the subsidy removal regime.

4, More jobs will be created, the parts and technology around the new innovation creates another value chain entirely and taxes would be paid either way.

5, Tribal sentiments should be put aside rather competence and speed should be expressly considered.

Government hasn't banned the imports of trucks and cars..
