There are some reasons that are valid enough to leave an organisation.

For every phase of life our needs defers.
When asked during interviews "why do you want to leave" alot of times their reasons are questioned.

Recruiters needs to start accommodating some of these and stop looking down on candidates who are sincere, I don't mean the ones who lie.

📌If a candidate feels they would like to be close to their family because current office is far from their house, by the time they get home all their children are already asleep no time to play and bond with family, hence the need for a new place closer home, that's a good enough reason to want to change.

📌If a candidate feels the distance of the current office is taking a hold of their health and hence need a change, it is a good reason.

📌If candidates are having issues in their home and feel for them to save their family there is need to change jobs, it's reason enough.

📌If a candidate feel the salary is too small and needs a salary upgrade due to the increasing life and family demands it is okay.

📌If a candidate is going through a divorce/separation and needs to change environment for their mental health, I believe it is reason enough.

📌 If a candidate feels they need to be in a structured environment where processes and polices are in line with best practices, it is good enough reason.

Not all candidates lie about why they want to leave an organisation.

Not all candidate leave because of money, growth, training opportunities, and toxicity. An organisation can have all the great structures and employees will still leave.

Some candidates leave a big organisation to a small organisation for good reasons. It will be unethical to make mockery of genuine candidates when they tell us the reasons they want to leave their current place of work.

Some reasons are very personal and honest, we all need to keep and open mind and accept people and their choices if the candidates are good enough give them the job.
