Governor Mohammed Bago Revokes Licence Of A Private Filling Station by Likpata43(m): 5:59pm On Jun 07, 2023
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has revoked the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) of a filling station and order for its demolition.

The Governor gave the directive when he inspected the filling station along Ketaren Gwari, in Minna metropolis.

He explained that the structure was illegal and its location is not safe for the people of the area.

The Governor said he had asked then to stop work but they refused hence he revoked the licence.

"We have report of the illegal structure and I have asked the Urban Development Board to stop them from work but they continued, so we revoked the C of O from today, and we will mark it for demolition", he asserted.

According to him, "It's uncalled for in the midst of people, it's hazardous to their lives and it's not acceptable",he said.

Vendetta because who authorized the sell of the land? Who signed C of O and who went to draw survey plan? All na state government.

It's high time we start doing the right thing and arrest everyone responsible

Why cant the owner sue the government when he was stopped by same government officials?

So because it was approved by government, human lives should not be valued anymore ?

Kudos to the governor.

Yarimo, you seem to know him quite well

I was in minna, Tunga farm centre to be precise when he contested and won the House of rep in 2011 under the CPC . He was quite popular then, or should I say he rode on Buhari's CPC tsunami

apert from thugs gaining more ground in minna, nothing bago can show as an achievements. Mai solar that represents 4 lga kontagora, wushishi, Mariga and mashegu has notable achievement to point at as representatives. Bago will be the worst governer in Niger state history

chief servant is the best among them in terms of infrastructure across the state starting from the state capital.and he did his best for civil servants. While kure administration money circulate, but in terms of infrastructure zero . While lolo came to make his own money, notes.. there is different between OUR MONEY and my money. Lolo father sani bello is rich but the man is still alive so his money belongs to him not lolo . Lolo used the opportunity to make his money
