*...ENVISAGES A THANKSGIVING OUTING THAT WOULD BE HELD IN THE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY*

As the ninth National Assembly winds up with a valedictory session today, 7th of June 2023, member-elect, Ahiazu Mbaise/ Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Hon. Emeka Martins Chinedu, has thanked Almighty God, and members of his Constituency for a successful and eventful first tenure, as well as the opportunity for a second term.

Speaking after the valedictory session in the National Assembly, Hon. Emeka Chinedu who ruled out the idea of an inaugural party in Abuja, stated that it is not only time to think home but also that such a move may be counterproductive due to the insecurity-related issues across the country.

"Honestly, this valedictory session gives me another opportunity to thank the Almighty God and the good people of my Constituency for a successful and eventful first tenure. Besides, they acknowledged that I performed creditably, consequent upon which I was voted for a second term, a function of their prayers and cooperation.

"It is also an opportunity to ask for forgiveness from any of my constituents, whom I may have offended knowingly or unknowingly in the course of my service as their representative. No human being is perfect.

"I have also forgiven anybody who might have offended me knowingly or unknowingly and seek the co-operation and support of the entire constituents as I journey through my second tenure in office.

"It is also pertinent to state that, due to the security-related issues in the Country, there would be no need for the inaugural party here in Abuja. The plan is to have a Thanksgiving at home that will be all-encompassing," he stated.
