Former President Trump has been indicted on federal charges that emerged out of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s months-long investigation

Trump is listed in the indictment, which has not been unsealed, as a criminal defendant charged with at least seven counts involving obstruction of justice, conspiracy, and illegal retention of classified government material. He has been ordered to appear in federal court in Miami on Tuesday.

Trump himself announced the indictment on his social media platform, Truth Social. Sources say federal prosecutors informed Trump's attorneys of the indictment a short time before he revealed it.

"The corrupt Biden Administration has informed my attorneys that I have been Indicted, seemingly over the Boxes Hoax, even though Joe Biden has 1850 Boxes at the University of Delaware, additional Boxes in Chinatown, D.C., with even more Boxes at the University of Pennsylvania, and documents strewn all over his garage floor where he parks his Corvette, and which is "secured" by only a garage door that is paper thin, and open much of the time," Trump said on Truth Social.

Trump said he has "been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday, at 3 PM."

This is the second time Trump has been indicted this year. Trump pleaded not guilty in April after being charged by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in the first degree.

Trump added: "This is indeed a DARK DAY for the United States of America. We are a Country in serious and rapid Decline, but together we will Make America Great Again!"

I am just here to read comments, of how some people, who have one relative in jail or death row, all over the world, for drug trafficking will come here and defend Trump or tell us how in saner climes, the "drung baron" wil be in Jail.

The Conservative Supreme Court is just for now particularly if Clarence Thomas wife Ginni Thomas contributions in January 6th was not a small one. It could possibly force her husband to resign the two of them are not clear yet and if he does resign or anything unexpected happens and Democrats control the Senate and White House they will flip it from a 6-3 Conservative majority to a 5-4 Conservative majority at least.
This is why Ron Desantis who is running for president said some weeks ago that the next two Presidential terms could see a replacement to two of the Conservatives who are oldest on the Bench because of their age. Even Sotomayor could be replaced too so yes, elections matter and Democrats see the opportunity.

For now though the Conservative Supreme Court will continue to do damage.

We have been hearing about back fire since the first impeachment to all his legal woes. Instead, rupublicans have been the one things are backfiring on! On a good day the mid term election was supposed to be a red wave...what we saw was a red dot.
