I will give you two scenarios.

I was looking for someone to create and design a website for me so I went on a market survey and met 3 different website creators
The first one was young guy of 27yrs old, he gave me his price at 380k plus 150k for yearly maintenance costs. According the maintenance cost was optional.

The second person was recommended to me by an industry colleague, I charged me 80k and explained to me that I can buy the domain and renew yearly or so and renewal will cost me about $18 yearly. He will main the site for me at a cost of 15k monthly i.e edit and add information, vids etc.

Third was a company with a flat fee of 50k, monthly maintenance of 20k and 10k renewal yearly.

Scenario Two:
I needed a mechanic for my vehicles a matured, family man in his 50's was recommended to me about 2yrs ago, this man normally comes to office and fix our cars, sometimes he takes it to workshop and we are not bothered because he has been trustworthy, when we have unexpected car problems we just call him and he locates us and sort the car issue out.
After every job this man will not charge us more than 5k, sometimes we give 10k. When he passed on we decided to sponsor all his kids through school to at least take some burden of the wife.
Now we got connected to another mechanic, a young dude in early 30's, I recently bought a new car and someone recommended him, recently my car fan belt go spoilt, I called him and he arrived with another guy in one honda I paid no mind to them because all I wanted was to get car fixed, this mechanic losed the fan belt and went to buy another one, I waited for his for good 3hrs when he finally returned with the same honda accord guy I asked why he took so long and he said "the fan belt scarce for market " lol. He fixed it and I asked him how much for the work and he said 55k!
I asked him to break it down for me and this was the break down;
1. Fan belt for Toyota highlander 2008 model 20k
2. Uber 25k (apparently the Honda accord was an uber ride).
3. Workmanship 10k.

On Twitter, you find Nigerian youths advertising their hustle I saw one young girl advertising how she makes cartoon characters for money and a young British guy told her to stop scamming people because AI can create better cartoon characters for free.. the naija girl started flaring up!

Nigerian youths will speak be grammar, charge you huge sums of money and deliver a shitty job because most of them are on drugs and when you complain they start to become aggressive as if you are the source of their misery. They are solely focused on money and most derive no joy from their so called "hustle"

Nigerian youths are truly lazy!

Your illogical generalisation has given you out as uncivilized.

Because you had a bad business dealings with just one or two persons , you simply labeled it as a Nigerian youth thing. So other people that are fixing their cars well by other mechanics , those ones are not Nigerian youths?

How can you label Nigerian youths as drug addicts when we know that youths of Western countries abuse drugs more than Nigerians.

You need brain check

Imagine what you'll do if you actually have power...I'm sure you'll maltreat the people that work for you...

Someone learnt a skill and charged you for it..because you couldn't afford it you now insult their hustle and call them lazy and entitled instead of looking for someone else to find common ground with...you're very sick upstairs Incase you dont have relatives or close friends to tell you that..idiot.

I paid the guy 55k no argument but I am very cautious of young people and their "hustle" . Once I see you moving funny I call it off.

You are the bitter person here.

That post you made there, proof read it again. Does it sound sensible to you calling the youths of a whole nation unprintable names simply because of a bad business dealings with just one or two persons? Even when we know that no country on Earth can compare themselves with the resilience of Nigeria youths. Let other nations face what Nigerian youth face here , and see if riot won't breakout

You are very right. I know many of them who claim to be looking for work, but ask them where they applied? Nowhere. They will sit at home waiting for good Samaritan with connections to show up and beg them to work. And even when they get the job, they are very unserious and useless.

Most especially those born from 1990 upwards

My dear that entire generation is sick o. Nothing like loyalty, committments and dedication in their books. One slight thing they quote mental health and jilt you in the middle of the sea. I have seen much pepper engaging their services

So, your definition of being hardwork is living from hand-to-mouth?
Was tempted to ask how old you are but I wouldn't because you won't answer me.
Someone learnt a job, and is able to deliver on the job yet you tag him lazy?
I hope you are only given food at your work place without salary.
For your information, the average youth have parents to cater for, some have wife and kids who attend private school. There are no scholarships anywhere for the kids nor free education (which of course isn't really free)
If anyone takes time to learn a skill and put a price on it, it's either you pay for the service or check the next door

For your info, Toyota fan belt is 8k.
Later they will say government is corrupt, not knowing the leadership we get is a reflection of the overall collective consciousness of the people. Because you have family to cater for means you should lie and cheat and deceive other people?
Kudos!
