It simply means Nigeria is irredeemable.. I haven't really been following the presidential tribunal proceedings. The little insight I get are more or less coming from nairaland and other online fora. Those little insight from the tribunal don't seem as if there will ever be any difference in the eventual outcome. The judges as we know are already offered the world alongside threats should they decline such offers and the rape of our beloved country continues.
We are simply on a merry go round where the next administration comes with tightened seat belt and the subsequent one come loosening it a bit and income another that will tighten it the more and that has become our fate.sadly.

First you assume "That Nigerians Don't Believe In Court Processes", then you conclude that "simply means Nigeria is irredeemable", and you come to this conclusion by the little insight you get "more or less coming from nairaland and other online fora". Do you see how simplistically you've reasoned?

Have you considered that the Nigerians on "nairaland and other online fora" might have no knowledge or experience of Nigerian courts, and might be too young to know what they are talking about? After all, if Nigerians don't believe in the court process, do you think the likes of Nigerian Obi would be wasting their time trying to claim a mandate in court?

The judges are not scared of the threats you speak of, and the Nigerian courts, badly managed as they may seem to be, are not as bad as you've been misinformed they are, and Nigeria is not as irredeemable as you presume. But don't take my word for it. Get yourself charged to court for something, or charge someone to court for something so you'd next time be talking from personal experience and knowledge instead of what you get from "nairaland and other online fora" where anyone can just talk crap and hope to be believed.

Nothing informs better than personal experience.

The truth remains there are particular set of people who run this country for their own selfish purposes. These set of people may not care about other court processes and cases. After all Obi won in the governorship tribunal and so do other individuals in different court cases. The cabals as it were are not interested or affected in these other court cases but the presidency. As long as they decide what goes on in the presidency, other issues are that trivial to them

Yes, a "particular set of people". But there is not one set of people, and not all sets of people reason as you presume.

Read here about a potential other set of people, then say, "yes, we can and one day will".

As for me, I have faith in us.

it really doesnt seem that one day will ever come until something drastic happens. We the youth have failed and until we realise we have really failed ourselves and our dependants may be then we may begin to seek those answers to our freedom

Indeed, an acceptance of our failure is the beginning of change, and while it may seem to you that one day will never come, this day came when someone, you, admitted we have failed, and that is a good enough start for me.

Next step is some who accept we have failed, joining together to resit and pass. And that day will one day come too.

The judiciary is now a piece of joke, everybody is trying to stack their pockets before running to another man's land to settle and die.
I keep telling people that politicians do not give a fck about you, the judiciary has been bought up, no justice for the common man.
Justice in Nigeria is DEAD and useless. The only justice that works in Nigeria is the justice wer a poor man will put rubber cuban on his fellow poor man and burn him up.
