Secondly, he clearly went against ethics, law and professionalism to start vying for Presidential Candidate in APC while in office as CBN Governor. Thirdly, he started implementing policies that were clearly politically motivated not minding the terrible hardship such brought upon the populace. Fourthly, he has been accused of funding terrorism by DSS even while Buhari was in power such that he had to go Court and use military guards from Army COS to avoid arrest. So he is well due for a sack.

But now he has not even been sacked, only suspended to allow for investigation. Goodluck Jonathan set the precedent with Sanusi and I am not sure there has been any judicial pronouncement that it is unconstitutional for the President to suspend the CBN Governor.
