My own problem now is with the way NNPCL are going about the Dangote refinery. For Christ sake the refinery is in a Free Zone (designed for exports), so anything coming from that refinery must have duty and levy on it. It's like these ab0kis want to take Nigerians for a ride.

I have nothing against Dangote but NNPC issuing him license to import Petrol citing a refinery that is technically not in Nigeria is ILLEGAL.
Nigeria government don't tax Free Zones so companies operating there are not accorded same rights as compaines taxed by the government of Nigeria

There was this beautiful young lady from Onitsha, schooled in the east an Engineer (structural/construction) came out with first class, was posted to Lagos for her youth service in a construction company, she was very happy she would be leaving east for the first time in her life, to feel what it was like living outside eastern Nigeria.

She was very smart & jovial everyone loved her at the office where she served, she helped out the staffs in some difficult work, the company retained her after service, 2months into her job as a permanent staff, the company asked the staffs to prepare a proposal for a huge contract they intend to pursue, at the end the management felt that of the lady from Onitsha was the best.

She went along with the management to present thier proposal, the company got the contract, the management was happy, she was happy too that she has done something to repay the faith the management put in her by retaining her, she was promoted to a higher position, got official car & house with big salary, she was happy that she can now take care of her terminally ill father who chose to rather spend the money on her education instead of his health, she was happy she can now send her younger sister to the university because she chose to wait for her to finish before she would go, because her poor mum cannot sponsor both together at the uni & also be buying thier dad's drugs. She was happy she can now take care of her poor mum whom has sacrificed all just to take care of the family.

Thank God someone is knows how the free zone operates, lots of Nigerian jubliating about the refinery, techinically it also imported fuel even if it is located in Lagos, by any products coming from the refinery would pass through customs and duites would be paid, which would affect the price of the products we may end up even paying higher than thew current rate, the government should as a matter of urgency get our refineries working as soon as possible, if not Tinubu government is set uo to fail.
