A former model who brutally killed, cooked and ate her husband has applied for early release from prison after only 20 years behind bars.

Omaima Aree Nelson is serving a 27 years-to-life sentence for the gruesome murder of her husband William E. Nelson in 1991. She was found guilty of killing, cooking and eating her husband, a crime which truly shocked the whole world.


Omaima Aree Nelson Seeks Early Release from Jail

Authorities at Orange County (USA) are livid about the application for early release by Mrs Nelson and have moved to block it. They are opposing the former model's application for parole on grounds of her violent past behaviour before the murder and also the brutal nature of the killing itself.

Details of Egyptian born Mrs Nelson's crime are too graphic to be repeated here.


No matter the nature of her crime do you think she should be considered for parole?

Does she deserve a second chance?

Is it right for Orange County’s district attorney’s office to try and block her release?

That's just crazy.

This is a no brainer. However she is a female killing men, so she will have a lot of sympathy here.
