The member representing Aguata 2 State Constituency in Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Anthony Muobuike, has reassured his constituents of quality representation in 8th Assembly.

Moubike, who stated this at a ceremony he organised to celebrate with his constituents after inauguration of 8th Assembly, noted that the second tier of government would maintain good and cordial relationship with the executive and judiciary.

He also maintained that he would within the four years of his legislature journey that just started, empower the people as well as utilise constituency projects for overall goods of all, especially to uplift the poor and dry the tears of the downtrodden, among other things.

According to him, the 8th Assembly would not only make quality laws, but move relevant motions and resolutions, and conduct oversight functions that will help the executive arm to achieve it objectives of making Anambra State liveable and prosperous.

"Ability and capacity of the Speaker of 8th Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze is not in doubt. All the distinguished members of the House are going to give him one hundred per cent support to ensure that Anambra State under Governor Chukwuma Soludo succeed.

"The primary function of the legislature is lawmaking. We will try our best to give Anambra State quality laws. We will move relevant resolutions and motions, conduct oversight functions properly to assist the executive in its drive to provide human capital, infrastructural and other developments in the State. We urge your support as we hit the ground running. You supported us during the election. We trust you will do more now," he added.
